I have COPD and either I my wife go in to the pharmacy in Augusta on the Leighton Rd. once a month to get cannulers. I was one day I stopped in and a woman asked if she could help me. So I sat down and told them what I needed and she proceeded to call the back room Warehouse and tell them that I was there to pick up cannulas. She got off the phone and noticed that I had set my tank of oxygen down on its side inside the tank carrier that you provide, a black one. She asked me if I always put my tank down on the side like that. I see yes I sometimes. She told me that was wrong. If I lay my tank on its side, it won't produce the oxygen that I need to help me breathe. That is not correct. I looked it up. Also that day she asked me if I ever use my tanks at home. I said yes I do sometimes. She proceeded to tell me in a very condescending way that it shows company came to my house and check to see if I was using my oxygen concentrator correctly and they check the hours meter and it didn't match up the way it's supposed to then I could have a problem with the insurance company. I feel this is also a load of, well, you know what. If the insurance company wants to come to my house and see if I'm using my equipment properly then they're welcome to. And does it really matter as long as I'm getting the oxygen that I need? I don't know who this woman is but I know where she sits in the office so if you'd like to know who she is I'll tell you. I hope you train your receptionist that are in the office a little better than this in the future. She was very condescending that day and I left that place extremely angry. Your ladies in the office need to do a better job and stop running the miles about things that they don't know what they're talking about. That's it. That's all. read more

I ordered a cpap machine from Kennebec Pharmacy back in May. They promised it would be sent out directly. They didn't. I have called at least three times since and have gotten the run around each time. Them promising they would ship it, but not really shipping it. Oh, and They have charged my credit card for it. If I don't get any satisfaction within the week, I am going to call the Better Business Bureau. I am totally fed up with their ineptness! read more

CPAP supply/assistance completely lacking. Website to order replacement items/get assistance down, call and it goes to voice mail. Left voicemail no call back. Multiple CPAP issues - SD card corrupt, data not uploading to app, replacement parts needed, etc. ResMed should contract this entire division to Amazon or another reliable option. read more

I would rather do business with a Taliban black marketeer in the streets of Kabul than with this ridiculous company. I rented a CPAP machine from them and paid all of my share of the copays up front and told them I would take care of supplies myself. As a retired disabled Veteran, I recognize Uncle Sam's contributions to my financial and medical wellfare and did not wish to incur any more charges than was absolutle neccessary. I paid over 500 dollars up front and was told the machine would be mine after so many months. For five hundred some odd dollars, you can buy a CPAP machine on line through CPAP Supply. Not only did they take my money, but they billed Tricare (my military/retireee medical insurance provider) over 80 dollars a month, therby making a hefty profit for themselves at Uncle Sam's expense. They contacted me several times a week to buy supplies for the machine from them-after I had told them several times I will take care of it myself. THEN they had the audacity to send me a bill for several months of rental charges-after I had given them all of what I was quoted as my total rental costs. That was the final straw. I returned the machine and was told I would receive a check for the prorated amount of rental expense I had not yet incurred-over $300 dollars!! Two weeks later-no check. I just called and was told that they 1) only issue checks on Fridays 2) that the insuranc ecompany still needed to be billed (processed they said) -which happens on the 2nd, the day I happened to return the machine and 3) even though the monthly "claim processing" had happened, for "some reason" no check had been cut or sent. I would rather burn shit in a barrel down range on deployment than ever deal with this company again. I want my money, Kennebec Pharmacy!! read more

For several weeks I have been dealing with Chuck in the South Portland office of Kennebec Pharmacy. He has been helping me to select, set up, adjust to my new CPAP machine. His service has been excellent in every way. He responds to my phone calls immediately, works with my pulmonologist, and makes the necessary adjustments. (These last are crucial to its operation.) Best of all, he is careful to keep me informed. read more

My experience was horrendous. Customers beware. Be very leary of any contracts you sign with them. The contract I signed for my CPAP machine was 10 months $20 a month. After that, I would own the machine. After a few months, my payment quadrupled for no reason, a clear breach of contract, and they tried to tell me I received my CPAP machine four months after I actually purchased it. Thankfully I retained my paperwork. Additionally, the few times I called for supplies I was greeted by a variety of rude individuals lacking personality. And their pricing is higher than many other suppliers. I wish I had read reviews before doing business with them. read more

Deceptive business practices. I asked how much the CPAP would cost me and was told, "just take it HOME we'll figure out how much to charge you later with your insurance." I should have never allowed for that- when I take a car home from the dealer I know exactly what I'm paying. Next thing I know I have a bill that looks like a phone number and I'm on the hook for $4,000 BECAUSE I TOOK THE CPAP HOME!!!! And these people are impossible to get a hold of and snarky with you when you do. I'd tell you what I really think about them but I'm trying to not use profanity. read more
