Advertised rate was 4.99%, however you will not get that rate unless you direct deposit your whole paycheck into your attached account. In addition I discovered an additional $85 loan fee. This fee is not mentioned on the website, nor did my loan officer mention it. It is disclosed in the 15 pages of documents that you are required to sign.. so my fault for not reading carefully. This fee would have been a dealbreaker since I've never had a fee for a car loan before! Shady! On a positive note, most of the customer service representatives that I spoke with while obtaining my loan and savings account were extremely friendly and helpful. Will not be recommending AFCU

They have been so helpful ever since. They suggested Kasasa and I didn't have to do a thing and now I make extra interest money each month. I make mobile deposits with my cell phone every week instead of trying to find time to go into the building. My checks used to build up until there were 20 or more by the time I got in there. I have never paid a fee for anything. I used to get charged by the former bank for all kinds of random things such as not making any transactions for a month. What?! I get punished for that?
