He made the location look so fancy when it was really just a parking lot outside a library and pub! Hiring Evoke was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. I've compared extensively and having worked with them, I can say without reservation that they are hands down the best value studio you will find in Houston. I don't think their online portfolio or even their in-studio albums do them justice. Other aspects that I appreciated include their responsive staff, easy payment system, and helpful instructions and tips. Sara in particular was very patient, accommodating, and helpful throughout the process. She spent nearly an hour before our big day to discuss our wedding day timeline to make sure that it was feasible and made terrific suggestions. It is clear that everyone we worked with at Evoke are wedding experts, and even though the studio runs like a well-oiled machine, they care about each of their clients and make you feel important and cared for. I had something in mind (bluebonnet field), but they really rolled with the idea and found us the perfect location! What I like most about Jared and Paul is their enthusiasm to take the best possible pictures all while making sure the client was also having an enjoyable time (which we did!) We spent the entire afternoon with them, finding new locations to shoot. We weren't locked into any particular spot, which we were really appreciative of. While they clarified with us that they had only recently begun their photography business together, their photos proved they had a true talent for this and in no way did we feel like we were with amateurs.
