If it is an urgent need, I would not recommend. I left a message with no call within 24 hours. Called a second time and voicemail box was full. I gave up and called another vendor who responded in hours. Still waiting for Kennedy to call me back and it has been 6 days. read more

Terrible!! 30-50% more than every other plumber, they NEVER have what the "need" . How do you not have what you need when you are a plumber and you're there to rot out a line? I have never called a plumber that didn't have what they needed to rot out of line, they disappeared for a couple hours, come back and work for 15 minutes and then charge me $485 for three hours work!! I am elderly and disabled. Apparently, to this company, that means "rip me off." In February, Danny installed two new toilets in my home. He didn't think I would notice that he brought 4 toilet seats. He swapped out the two Gerber seats that came with the toilets -- Amazon value $50 each -- for two Bemis seats -- Amazon value $15 each. Then he charged me $200 above estimate, even after ripping me off! He thought I would never notice, but the Bemis seats don't even fit and every time I sit on them I get to think about the ways Kennedy Plumbing disrespects and cheats the disabled and elderly. These people suck. The guy brought his son out with him, who is learning I assume, and didn't even know how to open my door to get downstairs back to the car for tools... We're at my house and tried to charge me double saying there were two technicians or plumbers working on the job which took them a total of 10 minutes. Wrote me up a bill for $300 and had the nerve to call me cheap when I questioned him why it was so much "I wouldn't do it for $20 if that's what you're trying to do" The Man~Let said. Told him to get out of my house and I would never do business with him again since I'm not even allowed to question what the bill was and how he was charging me. Mind you I had cash in hand no problem, but if you think you're gonna be rude to me in my own home and double charge me for your retarded son who doesn't even know what he's doing you can see the door. Not sure about the other negative reviews. These guys were quick, professional, charged me about 30% less than their competitor I used in the past. They even told me I probably didn't need to root my sewer as often since it was real clear. Didn't seem like they were trying to rip me off, why would they tell me that otherwise? read more

We had an emergency and they were able to come out the same day. Since they got there later in the day, they had to come back the next morning. They got here at 8:15 and didn't leave until 11:00 - we had a terrible clog in the pipe from the house to the street. They were professional and cleaned up as best they could. I now know that routing the pipes should be done on a more regular basis. I highly recommend them. read more

I was referred to this company and I called and left a very detailed message as to what my issue was.....never received a call back to acknowledge receipt of my message, let alone whether they could assist me. Needless to say, I ended up taking my business elsewhere and my problem has since been fixed. If you're looking for prompt service, it may be best to look elsewhere. read more

Everyone I've dealt with at this company (Ann, Pat and Tommy), was friendly and incredibly helpful. We had an issue with sewage coming back up in our laundry room on Christmas. I called the day after and they were able to get out the same day and help resolve the problem. They were even willing to help move a 60+ year old freezer that was in the way of the main stack they needed to rod out. There was hardly no clean up that needed to be done, the pricing was very fair and Pat explained everything he did. I would definitely recommend Kennedy to anyone that has plumbing needs and will definitely use them again should anything else pop up. read more

This past weekend, I had potentially 2 issues, bad toilet wax seal we already had known about and possibly more roots in main trap needing rodding. (lots of trees in our yard so this is a chronic thing with us) I called on a Sunday afternoon and left a message on their voicemail. Not only did they call me back later on Sunday but were on site the next morning, Monday at 10am. Kennedy took a look in the trap in the backyard and did some flushing etc. and said the trap flow all looked and sounded very good . You know, they could have told me just about anything and I'd have no way of knowing either way so these are some really honest folks! It's a great comfort finding someone you can have trust in. We had known beforehand that the seal had seen its day and it was confirmed that the toilet wax seal was actually in a sorry state so they replaced that, all the while explaining everything and answering all my questions about it, about roots, what you can throw down a toilet and what you never should and so on. And if superior service was not enough, I was literally blown away about how inexpensive it all amounted to. I was expecting to have to pay a considerable amount more than what they charged for all the above. Kennedy is now my go-to guys for all things plumbing. Our neighbors were having some work done by this company, so we decided to ask them if they could take a look at our 2 spigots (one had a broken handle and one had no handle; both had a working water supply). They drove about 20 feet next door to our house and was going to charge us full price for a service call. When I offered a cash price $25 less than the quoted price, since they were already next door, it was refused. When I told my neighbor what occurred, she told me he was the owner! I guess this small, local, family-owned business is more about making money & unnecessarily overcharging customers than acquiring new ones. read more

Still have a backed up drain, guess since it was not an emergency my call back was not a priority. Don't think they won my business. I've had Pat(owner) and Mike do work for me many times. Recently we suspected a broken sewer line in a basement. They brought the camera in and spent a half hr showing what caused the problem. We set up a date. During the work the brought me down stairs to show what happen during each stage. These guys take pride in doing a good job and are skilled and professional. I think they really like doing their work. When my wife asked Mike why they didn't have a color sewer camera? Mike replied that he "didn't need to distinguish peas from carrots" I paid a fair price. We first used Kennedy about 25 years ago when we had a pipe freeze on a Saturday. After calling several other places and getting no response, we tried Kennedy. When they learned that our heat had to be turned off, they assured us that they would be out within two hours and they lived up to their word. Since then, we've had them for a number of service calls including replacing an ejector pump, installing a new toilet, and, most recently, replacing a leaking water shut off valve. They provide prompt and informative service and reasonable prices. We recommend them to anyone needing plumbing assistance. read more

I was in a bind regarding a plumbing issue on Jun 4th, they came out looked at job and said we can't service you until Jun 8th that they were very busy. They came out, they were on time and friendly. It was a small job and they were done in less than an hour. They did quote me prior to the job with an allowed time of 2hrs. The job was done in less than an hour. Materials were $45.00 and Labor was $195.00. I thought that was high, $195.00 for an hour. I would shop around next time for better price and quicker service. read more

We've had them come out for weird problems and typical problems. They trouble-shoot and do it right, and then explain what they did and why.
