Very disappointed. Reached out to their company last week to inquire about installation of a deduct meter to bypass the two outdoor spickets. Was given a quote over the phone. Shared with the lady who scheduled the appointment that we do NOT have outdoor sprinkler systems. She advised us that the plumber coming out would let us know the difference in price from the quoted price she gave us over phone of 940.00. The plumber came out and informed us he could not complete job today and needed to discuss with his supervisor and get back to us with an updated estimate. We were then told we had to pay a CALL OUT FEE of $140.00. WE WERE NOT INFORMED OF THIS WHEN APPOINTMENT WAS MADE. NOT ONE COMMENT ON THIS UNFAIR CHARGE. Training needs to occur with the scheduling as this is NOT good customer relations. THIS SHOULD BE CONVEYED TO THE CUSTOMER WHEN CALLING. BEWARE... Do not trust this business, they nickle and dime you and are shady asf especially if you are a woman. I was charged $1060 for them to clear out a blockage. At first Gabriel said that they'll charge me $595 for the first 1.5hrs and then $120 for each additional half hour. I told him that if he could not fix the issue in 1.5 hrs then I would have him stop work. That I believe, prompted him to tell me that bc it's only sluggish buildup in the line then he'd only charge $220 for the first hour and 120 for each additional half hour which made he agree for him to extend past the hr since he said that he had located the issue and that he waiting on a colleague to drop off a tool piece but it's a simple job now the Issue is known. then finally 3.5 hrs later, the issue was fixed and he called me and said his office did the invoice for the $595 base instead of the $220 base. I questioned this over the phone with him, and I just paid the price. I didn't receive the invoice right after my card went through so I called their main line and asked Nicole to email my invoice. Her response was that "she's just finishing up the invoice" and will send it shortly. How are you finishing up the invoice when Gabriel said that the price is what the office invoiced me for??? He even told me TWICE that the fee to charge my card is 3%, then during the invoice time he changed it and said 3.5%. They finagle numbers... I'm convinced that Gabriel decided to mark up my total cost as much as possible and then bc I paid over the phone at that same time, he wasn't able to call Nicole in time to give her the numbers. They installed a water heater in my house in 2021. Work done was really good. However, the tank leaked in May of 2025. They said they installed a bad batch of tanks. They said I still need to pay for labor because it was after one year. I was quoted $925 and they charged me $1200. The extra $275 was for a new pan (sells for 19.99 at home depot). They said they had to install it. However, the tank just sits on the pan. They didn't even hook up a tube to run it to the drain. When I called and emailed about what the installation charge was for, they said they would have a manager call back. It has been weeks now. They won't return a call. It took several calls just to get them to come out and replace the tank that was under warranty. While I thought I had found a good plumber after the quality of work installing the original tank, I really don't appreciate that they don't take the time to call you when you have a problem. They really over charged for the $20 pan and I can't support people that operate with a Comcast-like customer service. I don't like to leave bad reviews about anyone, but after weeks of waiting for a call back (already left them a few messages), here we are. My mother in law lives by herself, and my father lives by himself. I'm always just looking for a business that will be fair, honest and will be proactive in getting in touch with you. I'm looking for a plumber that will provide that. If they wanted extra money, they should have just offered to fix the very corroded shut off valve that runs to my humidifier. They just left that, so now I still need a plumber to come out and fix that because it is leaking. The worst thing is having to do a job twice. If you don't care about customer service or paying a fair price, then go with Aleck. I have no problem with the technician that did the install. I think all problems stem from the people running the office and billing. I feel it is important to warn others so you can go and find someone that is trustworthy and will be there when you need help and won't require lots of phone calls. read more

We discovered a leak under the tank of the toilet and it was a holiday and at night. I called Aleck Plumbing the next day and got an appointment. They responded the next day with a 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m time frame. The plumber was professional, right on time, and was able to explain all of my options. The toilet was old and instead of fixing on it I got a new Kohler Wellworth toilet. We love it. It is quiet, the seat lid closes softly on its own. The plumber did an excellent job and was done in no time. This is the third time I have used their services and will continue to call them for our plumbing needs. Overpriced and untrustworthy. They charge $200 an hour and will still bill you if they stand around and do nothing. Got charged $400 for them to sit in their vehicle. Then they left and didn't do any work! Came back a 2nd time told me they fixed everything but there were still leaks. Came back again. Fixed the "leaks they missed last time" then took down one of the walls saying "There is a leak behind it" but there wasn't any?! Got charged for that. I scheduled a visit with Aleck Plumbing to provide us with an estimate on the issues we were having. I was aware of the $95 charge for the "service call fee" which I was OK with. I was working at the time they came but was confident that my elderly mother knew what to say with the list of things I left her. The very nice gentleman came and went over the list with my mom and they even called me while I was at work to go over everything. Nothing major needed to be done (thank goodness) but also nothing was done. But.... he did charge my mom $186!! For what???! He didn't do anything. I called the next day and spoke with the manager and explained the situation. He was suppose to look into this and call me back. A day went by... I called again. Left a message with the receptionist.
