Given that my puppy is a 'Working Breed', German Shepherd, he must be trained at an early age. People who don't know anything about dogs, except to love them, WHICH IS ALL GOOD! BUT SOME BREEDS MORE THAN OTHERS MUST HAVE BOUNDARIES AND BE TRAINED IN THOSE BOUNDARIES!!! Or you have a TRAIN WRECK WAITING TO HAPPEN!!! The BASICS are vital!! And because he will be my Service Dog, the HEELING command was extremely important! As was the Stay command. Raegan knew what to focus on and in just 1WEEK! He was heeling! He learned many other things because he was there 3 weeks. It was great to be able to drop him off in the AM and pick him up in the Afternoon. I had researched and spoke with a few trainers as I knew the type of trainer I wanted, as there is no one way to train a dog, it is depending upon the personality type the dog has! As soon as I met Raegan and spoke to her, I KNEW SHE WAS THE ONE TO TRAIN my German Shepherd puppy I watched her train other dogs and she has a passion for training too! Because an obedient dog is a good dog! I plan on returning for advanced training because it's not only good for me but VERY GOOD FOR THE DOG! I cannot say enough great things about Kennelwood O'Fallon, IL. We did the 6 week training program with Reagan and she was fantastic! She is great to work with and so good to our fur baby. Our pretty wild 5 month old lab picked up training with Reagan very quickly and the once a week training lessons with me were so helpful. Our dog is listening and pretty well behaved for a puppy. The entire staff treated our puppy like one of their own. We will definitely be regulars for the train and play and doggy daycare. read more

Staff are absolutely wonderful - very professional and kind. However, the company's policy to refuse to serve pets and owners of certain breeds not only contradicts recommendations by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention but by the American Veterinary Medical Association, American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, the National Canine Research Council, etc. It's a shame that an organization in the business of serving animals would be so ignorant of the animals it serves. read more

I have been taking my dog here for almost 10 years and my dog most of the the time is groomed really good. Always try and get the same person to groom her.I live in Collinsville, Ilinois and drive my dog to O'Fallon Illinois for them to groom her. I highly recommend them .Their pricing had stayed the same until this pandemic, but I truly understand and even with the increase they are priced reasonable compared to prices I have heard other people say they pay for their animal to be groomed. read more

When we moved to this area, I had a very frustrating time trying to find a groomer for my cat. I finally contacted Kennelwood, and they informed me they routinely groomed cats. The relationship is nothing short of spectacula! My cat, who is 22 years old, actually seems to enjoy their grooming. She doesn't struggle, and lets them cut her in record time. I have been bring my cats the Kennelwood Grooming in O'Fallon Illinois for a few years now. Everyone from the receptionist to the pet groomer assistants has been very kind, warm and helpful. My Husky (Ashley) has been groomed at Kennelwood for 7 years by the same groomer (Kris), she also enjoys day camp each time. My pups Gwenny & Gracie can't wait to go to Kennelwood Day Camp as well as grooming. They come home exhausted from play abs I can barely keep them in the car when we pull in the parking lot. This place is the best! It's alittle pricey but it's worth it! They care for your pet like you do at home. Wonderful Boarding Experience! We had our new Aussie Stella stay over Easter holiday. I received a pic and text every day. Stella was spoiled and had puppy day camp. I felt so comfortable leaving our baby there (3.5 mos old). Overall, a wonderful experience and worth every dollar. read more
