I made a last minute bath and nails appointment for my Shiba and they did a great job with her. I will be back with both my pups.

Four Muddy Paws - Three Sizes To Fit All Dogs

    Four Muddy Paws

This review is for the Shot Clinic only, as I did not go into the store…read more Four Muddy Paws hosted a shot clinic sponsored by Partners For Pets. The prices were phenomenal!!! My baby rec'd 3 shots for $27. We arrived first thing in the morning, since the clinic was from 9am-12pm on May 2nd. Four Muddy Paws is housed in a strip mall with plenty of parking and there was a bank next door that looked to be closed on Saturday so that accommodated for additional parking. The clinic was held outside in the grassy area, they had a table set up, so it was first come, first serve. The paperwork was simple and they accepted cash or card payments. The wait time wasn't bad, it took us an hour from start to finish and the staff was really nice and loving to the babies and were ready for all types...meaning if your fur-baby was scared or frightened. We rec'd a free cookie from Treats Unleashed for the fur-babies and a $5 gift card. Added a new rescue dog to my pack, so I needed a couple of things to welcome her…read more First thing I needed was a tag for her collar. I love the machine that they have in house for making tags. You select the one you want, an associate programs the machine and loads your new tag. Then you take over the keyboard by selecting how many lines you want. The next step is typing what you want on the tag and selecting a font. Final step is proofing and hitting the engrave button. When it's done engraving, you've got a fashionable tag for your new family member. The other item I needed was a coupler. I needed it for the seatbelt restraint. Instead of securing one dog, I now needed to make sure two dogs were safe while riding shotgun. Of course, we couldn't leave without getting matching bandanas for both dogs and a couple of fresh baked cookies. When: January 28, 2026 Why: Shopping with new dog after seeing new vet.

Yesterday Petco had a flood and no customer was allowed in the store…read more I know this because I went to the store to buy a baby ferret and they said no customer was allowed in due to the flood They told me the baby ferret was still in there, and I could come back tomorrow So today I woke up and I got to Petco 10 minutes before they opened so I can be the first one in the store so I can buy this baby ferret Since no customer was allowed in the store yesterday an employee bought the ferret, and it was the same employee who told me to come back the next day to buy the ferret If customers can't come in and buy the animals, I don't think the employees should because I was at Petco yesterday way before the employee even bought the ferret and I was ready to buy the ferret and they told me I couldn't come in due to flooding, but the employee bought the ferret because she was allowed in the store because she was a worker

So I thought we would save some time and go here. Wow...I'm so glad I did. I was shocked to see that they carried my favorite dog food. I had switched to another brand because I was tried of ordering it. They even had the wet food in the Orijen brand. They also had my dogs favorite chews that I can only find at a store an hour from me. What a find! I left with a cart full and a big smile. This is my new pet store! I couldn't be happier about it. I'm just sorry I hadn't checked out this store earlier! Thanks Petco!

The front desk staff, the techs, and Dr. Trickel were all amazing and compassionate and treated my bunnies with the utmost care. One of my quad needed a molar trim. If I absolutely had to say one negative thing is that the wait time was a little long But that said it is a hospital and they take emergency patients so I can say if I have an emergency I would want them to take my baby right away. If you don't want to take a chance that you may have a wait time due to an emergency that may come in then you may want to seek more of a clinic type vets office. Thank you Hawthorne and Dr. Trickel

We took our doxie here to have her put to sleep after she took a quick turn with aggressive cancer…read more It was the only place nearby that was available. I have had to have pets put to sleep before and, even at the emergency vet, they've had a comforting room that doesn't feel sterile, with soft lighting, and seating. I guess I shouldn't have set my expectations that high. We were led to a dirty exam room with only a hard bench to sit on, had dog hair everywhere and smelled very very heavily of urine. I understand it is a vet's office, but I've never gone into an exam room that felt dirty before. After speaking with someone else who has gone here, they also reported that smell. The vet tech had a very strange demeanor and I understand having to protect your emotions in a job where you have to do this frequently but it was very uncomfortable. They took a very long time to return after they had sedated our pup and it made the whole experience feel that much worse. They had a very hard time putting in the IV, which is not their fault, as she had become very dehydrated within the last day. But watching them bend her leg in strange positions when she was unwell was very very upsetting. Finally, I called after 3 weeks of not receiving any phone call about her cremains being ready. They said it took about 2 weeks and I was trying to be patient. They told me that they had called me an entire week prior and had left a voicemail. I checked my missed calls and my voicemails and did not have either so I do not believe they actually called me. They may be amazing vets, I cannot speak on that. But overall, I was very sad that my pup's end of life experience was in a dingy exam room that smelled so heavily of urine.
