Because I skipped going to Starbucks to support local. So I would've had a good matcha latte, but instead, got in my car, took a sip and cursed. Anyhow, aside from the terrible matcha latte, the space is adorable. 2 stories, lots of options for seating and huge outdoor space. You can choose from chairs on the porch, to chairs in the "garden" area. The coffee aroma was vibrant and the staff was nice. Many people were there in groups, pairs, and solo. So it's a place for all. I won't go back because I have PTSD from the terrible matcha latte. But it's a cute venue and if you like dogs or have a dog, it's dedicated to dogs.

I was told that they would be closing shortly. I believe I had about 30 min prior to closing time. This was more than enjoy time for me to drink a drink and eat my food. As such, I opted to dine in. The empanadas came out first. They were not my style. The pastry part was more like a corn bread consistency. I am accustomed to to emphasis being more of a dough like consistency. Additionally they tasted like something you just pull out the freezer and warm up. I would not order them again. When the drink arrived I had to confirm it was pistachio because I saw chocolate everywhere. The staff immediately recalled that I did not want whole milk and told me he had to re- make my drink. When it arrived for the second time the presentation was the same- it looked like a chocolate drink and not pistachio. When I took a sip I was shocked to find chunks of pistachios in the drink. I had to drink and eat the drink- interesting concept. I will say that the coffee taste on its own may be okay- however, collectively I was not a fan of this drink. Overall I do not have the best experience with the food or drink from this spot. I do give kudos for the ambiance and the service!

Nice and quiet coffee shop about 10 minutes from KSU. Staff goes out of their way to please customers and is good conversation. They serve some small food items here and rent out rooms in the back for work spaces. They have plugs all around and WiFi for work/ study use. Would recommend if you're looking for a nice brew and quiet atmosphere. read more

We asked an employee to help explain some of the roasts they offered and she was kind and helpful to give us some insight. You can buy the beans by 1/4 lb increments and they'll dispense and bag them fresh from their wall of beans. They also have a rewards program where you get a free lb of beans for every 10 or so lbs of beans you purchase. There were also prepackaged beans that come in 12 oz bags. I wanted to say something there but, my darling husband doesn't like conflict. So this is how I'll share my issues. I am understanding and patient until someone is a jerk. The vanilla macchiato was good so 2 stars instead of one. Maybe check yourself kid. The attitude was unnecessary.

I got the Korean-style coffee and a Dubai chocolate croissant, and both were delicious. The croissant was HUGE and I couldn't even finish it, so the value is definitely there. I'm already excited to go back and try the strawberries and cream croissant and the Biscoff latte. The guy at the register was so nice! They also offer curbside pickup, which is super convenient, although I chose to go inside because I wanted to check the place out. It's spacious, nicely decorated, and has a great atmosphere. I could definitely see myself meeting up with friends here. I live in Chicago but visit the area often to see family, so this will absolutely be a staple whenever I'm in town!

They really transform the old Chick-fil-a dining room into a more cafe vibe dining room. There is a nice big booth perfect for a large group / meeting, comfortable lounge chairs with bistro tables, and multiple tables. There is also one long table in the middle with a community puzzle on it, which I thought was pretty cool. I like that they have outlets by most of the seats so you can easily plug in your devices. I asked the cashier her favorite latte and she recommended the pistachio latte, which I initially thought that it would kind of weird, but she said it's nutty and made with pistachio milk. She was not wrong... it was absolutely delicious! Maybe a little too sweet for me, but I love the nutty flavor. Definitely one of my new favorite drinks. My husband got the Mocha latte (not sweet at all, need to add a syrup or just add sugar), but the flavor is rich. We got the chocolate pull apart (it's not part of the 1/2 dozen donut option). We had it warmed up, because she said most people prefer it warmed. It's basically a pull apart croissant and I'm not really sure if it was not baked all the way through or if it's meant to be a little under in the middle, but it was definitely a little doughy. For the 1/2 dozen donut that we got, we picked blueberry, chocolate, vanilla, lemon poppy seed, almond honey, and white raspberry. We had the white raspberry and it had bits of white chocolate in it. Love the subtle hints of raspberry and the cake is nice and fluffy and very moist. A very cook cake donut. I will definitely be back to try other menu items, very interested in trying something savory next time around with a nice latte. I do like how they have the option to substitute different milks and option to add different syrups. I think it would be a nice place to hang out with a nice book. It was also nice to see the staff keeping the dining clean.

I had the vanilla sea salt cold brew, which was really good considering I'm not a big fan of salted drinks. My daughter had an iced matcha latte and she didn't really like it. (She usually loves matcha). My other daughter had the hiberry, and she said it was really good. We will definitely return to try other items.
