Customer service is so important to me - it always keeps me coming back. They're active on their social media (I love following their IG page). This coffee shop is a gem!! My chai latte was delicious. My friends liked their white mocha and salted caramel latte. My daughter liked the boba in the bubble tea but didn't care for the tea very much. Probably because she's used to going to tea-specific places. The atmosphere is rustic charm with ample tables and space. The drive thru location is super convenient. We were served by the owner and his daughter and they provided excellent service. If I'm honest, I'm being generous with the four stars. The place is cute, a bit more business-like environment than quirky coffee shop. It's cute with nice varied seating, but the couches are not comfortable. The coffee was fine (please bring back mugs instead of disposable cups!), and the quiche tasted good even if not thoughtfully presented. The service was not great. Two "kids" seemed distracted and slightly annoyed that I wanted food. One had his personal belongings spread all over the beautiful counter where I would have liked to sit. Overall, I'm not opposed to the place, but there are just much better coffee shops around. read more

Coffee is smooth and the staff is nice. Docking a star for my experience today though. I asked for an iced latte, got to the window and it was made hot. I reminded her that I asked for it iced and she was really nice about remaking it. Except it wasn't remade. She just poured the hot latte into a plastic cup and added ice. Which is not the same thing as an iced latte :/ It melted quickly and was lukewarm, I wasn't able to have more than a few sips. I love indep coffee shops so I'd still recommend giving this place a try. read more

The prices aren't the cheapest but I think it's definitely paying for what you get for! Not as crazy as the daily grinds prices . I tried the iced candy heart latte with oatmilk, one of the Valentine's Day drinks, and it was delicious. Very sweet! The Cali sandwich was filling and flavorful. Love the spicy mustard in it and avocado combo. Also the iced hazelnut almond milk latte was okay. First few sips only tasted the espresso, as if not completely stirred in. This place is good, but mid. Nothing about this place floors me. It's typically my last choice for a coffee shop to go to--UNLESS I am in dire need of serious solo study time. They have these great individual booths in a pretty quiet area that are well lit and totally help me focus and get a lot of work done. They have a drive thru, eclectic old furniture, an awkward set up and it's connected to a "workplace". Parking is great as they have their own parking lot, but getting out can be difficult because the intersection it's at is so busy. Their menu is nothing extraordinary, I'm never tempted by any of their pastries. They also serve food. They have Irish Creme syrup which I do adore and is a bit of a rarity. They also use reusable mugs if you dine in, which I enjoy for a more home/comfortable vibe. Seating can be full, but they have several options of booths, a bar, tables and couches. Update: The workspace and coffee shop are in the same building, but may actually be two different companies. I'm not too sure! They have separate Instagrams, @workatdesktop and @kennesawcoffeeco Had to come here for a work meeting and was quite surprised about this new spot! The location was previously a pharmacy, but now is a coffee shop + workspace. It's not on a main Street, but still a great location. They offer coffee, of course, pastries and sandwiches. The space is HUGE. Like, seriously! This is a great area for those small companies that need a great environment to brainstorm. read more

Good coffee and Bagel... The staff is questionable (Emily). First I didn't know there was a pay for space here, when I found out I was about to be late for a meeting and the "link" would not pop-up to pay but I was already connected. I have a brand new laptop and it connected automatically (I don't know how). I had a quick break and really just forgot about the payment. Around the corner comes a staff member loud as can be in a "quiet work space" and started asking me my full name because she couldn't find me in her system. She was upset that I was connected to the internet and attempted to disconnect and reconnect to the correct internet for me to pay, which I was fine with but again it was not working and the meeting was about to start again. She couldn't get it to work and I ended up being late to my meeting because I had to reconnect to the previous internet. She was loud and walked off telling me that she was going to check on her laptop and pull it up because I needed to pay. She never can back to "help" me pay but it agitated me and I found the link through the internet. I couldn't even get whatever link she was referring to on my phone. The "Desktop" area throughout the day was louder (kid crying, wagons for food being used, phone calls taken in the general area instead of the phone booth) then the front (free) area. Now I know. Really my complain and the reason for a 3 stars is how rude she was. She didn't have a solution or work around in which I ended up having to find during my training so that I can calm my anxiety. If this place was packed I could absolutely understand that. Still there are the same 3 people that have been here all day. This is something she could've asked me more professionally and given me a work around. read more

The scene: dining room/work space has a few occupants, but is at least half empty. There's no line at the counter and it appears there are 2 employees in plain view and 1 is in another room. We walk up to the counter. One of the people behind the counter, in fact, the one standing at the register and punching stuff in isn't an employee. She says so, but asks if we have any questions and calls to the person in the side room relaying what I asked. So that was a weird interaction. Said person stays in the food service area around employees and makes self a drink. No one asks them to move/leave. Why is someone who doesn't work there standing at the register? It's not like they were personable and helped while it was busy or something. My drink was a soy chai. It was okay, but my friend's latte was not good at all. I was disappointed after seeing good reviews. I prefer independent coffee shops, but because they have a superior product and service and I found neither here. read more

The apparent owner of KennesawCoffeeCo (which makes sense now considering the attitude and dismissiveness of the employees) commenting back actually trying to discount MY experience and MY observations while I gave them MY money and so entitled me the criticism I gave. This is Yelp. I've been to the establishment; deal with criticism. Now that was just evidence at its finest that everyone needed to see regarding the kind of place this is and why Yelp was created, to help others dodge bullets. Being that my money is in his/her bank account and for him/her to immediately blow off a customer's experience, questioning my credibility rather than being more professional, going so far as immediately going on the attack; using my name in some attempt to "call me out" and trying to, again, attack my credibility rather than being professional about a customer's experience simply puts the cherry on top of my point essentially. What was got for my feedback was an attempt for him/her to mislead people and bully her way into what turned into an attempted advertisement while using my name to "shame me" so they think. A paying customer being insulted for reputation's sake, is honestly pretty low-tier as far as how a business' owner should conduct themselves and it HAS reflected on the business itself. read more

Location was super easy to find right at the corner of Jiles Rd & North Main St. Spacious, bright, clean comfortable place with plenty of seating options (std seating, short and tall bench style for typing). We started going here every Saturday when Covid hit and shut most places down. We enjoy the walk to it and sipping our drinks on our walk home. The staff is friendly. Sometimes, they're a little slow or there's a wait. I don't think they have many people working, and we don't mind. Our drinks are good, and we like supporting local business. We only use the walk-up window or drive thru. My kids have enjoyed a few pastries like the brownie. My hubby has had the quiche once in awhile. I stick with lattes. Worst costumer service from this white girl with long hair. I went through the drive-thru to order my drinks and she kept saying she can't hear me which is fine i've recently started to lose hearing in my left ear so I can't really tell if i'm being loud or quiet. I go to the window she repeats my order to me to make sure she heard correctly that for one of my drinks the person who was going to drink it is allergic to dairy so i made sure she knew that it wasn't cream but oat milk as she originally thought i asked for cream. I get the order back and I read on the cup it says cream. So I go back through the drive-through to talk to them to make sure they put oat milk. They gave me so much attitude saying they couldn't here me, the white girl comes up to the window with so much attitude saying they don't have oat milk creamer (something i didn't ask for) and saying she did it right. I was going to explain that since the cup said creamer I just wanted to make sure she didn't add any dairy. But with that attitude I didn't want to escalate the situation and left. read more
