I'm a coffee lover, so I was intrigued by this spot. The decor is... a lot. Very dog‑themed: dog photos, dog pins, dog merch. Not my style, but if you're obsessed with dogs, you'll probably think it's adorable. My boyfriend and I went together. He loved the barista's nonchalant vibe. Me, not so much. I don't need a parade when I walk in, but a simple smile goes a long way. Price-wise, the coffee is fair. I wouldn't pay a cent more. I got Kirby's signature mocha iced (regular). It was fine...nothing special. My boyfriend got the same thing hot and enjoyed it, but he's a simple guy. I'm... not. So here's the bottom line: If you're looking for coffee that's innovative, unique, or memorable, this isn't the place. Weekdays I try to get out of the house as a break from my normal pace of working from home. Today I searched for coffee houses on the area and this one came up! I wanted a place that was cozy, good coffee drinks and not too busy so I could work. Lazy Labrador Coffee was perfect. It's right off of downtown Kennesaw and has lots of room to sit inside or outside. Upon parking behind the shop, there's a garden area with cornhole, benches, tables and the porch has seating too. Inside there's a sitting area by the fireplace and tables. There's plenty of tables and even upstairs. The counter is straight ahead with a menu and lots of drink specials. There's not too much to eat other than pastries so don't come too hungry. I tried a scone and a large iced blueberry matcha. The drink was a good balance of sweet and the nutty flavor of the green tea. The scone wasn't memorable but hit the spot because I was hungry. I was able to get in a few hours of work as the place gets busy. Other patrons are courteous to take their conversations and busy toddlers outside. There's free WiFi, three unisex restrooms and the jazz playing was the right volume to set the tone. I definitely recommend and I'll be back to try more low caffeine beverages. read more

Stumbled upon this really cool dog themed coffee shop just outside downtown Kennesaw. This gorgeous, what looks like once home, place is actually quite large with multiple outdoor seating areas including a patio and outdoor atrium. Inside you will find multiple rooms with seating areas. One features a fireplace. You can also head upstairs for more seating options. They offer a fairly large coffee menu as well as some snacks and canned/bottled cooler beverages. The baristas behind the counter were all young but very friendly and professional. I ordered a mocha and it was good. Nice chocolate flavor but not overly chocolaty. Oddly enough this place is not dog friendly even with its name and overwhelming theme. However, you can bring your pooch to hang out with you in the outdoor areas. Would give this 5 stars if it was dog friendly inside. I'm sure it's because of city ordinance. read more

This is a super cute coffee shop that is labrador themed (stating the obvious here). You'll see the cutest labrador mugs, dolls, and other little items on sale. There is also plenty of tables and seating all around, making it a great spot to hang out--if you can find parking, that is. I had the Americano with oat milk and it's on the more watery end in terms of espresso to water ratio. I was fine with it, but I imagine most people would prefer and should probably request less water with their Americanos. Next time I'd love to try their baked goods--they're all super sized and look divine. read more

I have been to this place ample times. The service is mediocre. Nothing extraordinary, it is mostly college and highschoolers. The ambiance depends on when you go. It's usually too busy for seating. The wait isn't bad. The drinks and food however are pricey and not the best. Could make this quality of drinks at home. They use Torani syrups which is the first red flag. The baristas do not properly stir or mix the drinks in. One sip of a latte is going to be straight espresso each time. The only drink I get here that they don't mess up is the Kirby signature iced latte. The matcha is always too milky and not stirred. The other latte flavors are bland. Drinks water down very quickly. I met a friend here and it was great. I arrived early and there were still spots in their small lot. They also have street parking on one side of the street adjacent to the building. It is clearly marked so make sure you read the signs. I loved that this is a house. Once inside, the ordering is in the back and the prices are very reasonable. I got a chai latte and it was tasty. The seating here is impressive as there is lots of it. There are normal tables, cozy chairs, and an upstairs area that has a long bar where you face the wall, great for studying or doing focused work. This was my first time experience. Cute place. Bigger than expected. Love the outdoor park like seating. I ordered a Hazelnut Latte. Couldn't taste the hazelnut. There was very little foam. Coffee was good and hot that helped. I won't bother with an add in next time. Packed with Kennesaw students with enough open seating to go round. Not too noisy. I got a maple syrup based latte (half sweetened) with salted caramel cold foam and my husband got a white chocolate mocha (half sweetened). Cute little coffee shop in Kennesaw! They have an outside area for dogs, but pets are not allowed inside (except for service animals) so just come prepared. They have plenty of inside tables and outlets as well as outdoor seating. The parking lot was a little smaller, but there were spots available when I went at 4pm on a Thursday. I got an iced chi late and a savory, bacon and cheese scone. They heated it up, and everything was so yummy! There were all ages there when I went. They had a small variety of scones and muffins available for purchase. SEATING - Tons of seating! Indoor seating, tables, individual chairs, outlets available to plug in laptops. Upstairs seating (small space but fits a bunch of people! At least 10 people). Outside seating available on the porch (chairs and rocking chairs), a fire pit area with large, red Adirondack chairs, a few benches, and plenty of small tables with chairs. PARKING - They have their own parking space but it's very small, so I would suggest the free parking right across the street in front of the park. Very short walk. I visited around 10am on a Saturday and it was pretty busy with many people seated inside with their laptops and plenty of people visiting outside with their pups on leashes. Great, local coffee shop in the Kennesaw area! It's located right next to the Frozen Cow in downtown Kennesaw. Parking is a bit hard to get sometimes, but there is street parking and you can also park in the same parking lot as the Frozen Cow if it's that full. The first time I went, I got their Kirby's Signature Latte and my wife got the Pumpkin Spice White Mocha. Both were really good! I noticed a lot of people getting frozen drinks and they look really good, but I'm just stuck on the Kirby's Sig Latte. One day I will try a frozen drink, but it's hard when I go in the morning and want a hot drink. They also have some baked goods. I tried their bacon and cheese scone which was delicious. Since then, I've had their blueberry and cinnamon roll scones as well, which were also delicious! Definitely give them a go. They also sell the coffee beans they use (or I think they use) along with merch and dog treats! They are dog friendly, if you couldn't tell by the name, but you have to stay outside with the dog unless it's a service dog. The atmosphere is great and a is a nice place to chill out and relax. I usually just get drinks to go though. I'm glad we have another local option in the area since I don't care for Starbucks much. read more

My husband and I were looking for a local coffee shop while in Kennesaw. I saw this one on Yelp and we decided to stop. Trying to find a parking spot was a bit difficult, as they have limited parking spaces and limited street parking. It was pretty packed for a Saturday morning as well. My husband dropped me off and rode around, while I ordered our coffee. It's a cute, little, boutique coffee house. Inside there are tables and chairs, where people can sit and enjoy their coffee and/or baked items. The menu is pretty extensive, along with a few tempting speciality coffees. I opted for Kirby's Signature Mocha with oat milk. I'm not a huge coffee drinker, so the barista suggested I get it half caffeinated. The wait wasn't long and our coffee was made to perfection. 10/10 recommend and look forward to coming back sooner than later.
