The coffee and tea are great. The problem is with the service. Unfortunately some of the girls upfront have been audibly gossiping about customers which creates such an uncomfortable environment. If you want to stop and get a coffee, go for it, just don't be surprised if you're treated like the next hot topic of discussion in the front and get snarky looks from the girls up front. Talk about a cozy spot to visit. This place had plenty of parking and honestly had a great set up inside. Break out rooms for private meetings, large comfy chairs, and tables all around the cafe. I didn't get anything to eat and my coffee was fine at best but really I was just upset they charged me $1.50 for whipped cream, I didn't notice until I checked the receipt after ordering and I think that's a little steep for something that is maybe an oz of liquid and didn't even taste housemade, let alone them not mentioning "hey that's an up charge of $1.50" I'd come back but I just think that's worth noting read more

Coffee is mediocre. The owner has poor customer service and employee management skills at best. Overpriced! I stopped buying their coffee some time ago. To use the space for work, I buy the cheapest item possible, usually a banana. I only go there to break the monotony while working or reading. I'm actually surprised this place has stayed open as long as it has. Cool Beans, Session Stand, and Tuesday are all close by and have better coffee, service, and prices. read more

I've been here before and obviously enjoy it enough to come back! Parking: There is ample (free) parking as the coffeeshop is located in a shopping center. I got there pretty early, but I feel it will be pretty easy to find a spot. Food & Drinks: I ordered a bacon, egg, and cheese bagel sandwich from the Build Your Own Breakfast menu and an iced vanilla latte. For lunch, I had the chicken and mozzarella panini. I wasn't too impressed with the food; I thought it was lacking flavor BUT I really enjoyed my drink! I also tried my friend's honey cinnamon latte and that was delicious as well. The also have desserts and pastries for sale; some of which are from nearby pastry shops in the area. Love how they support each other. Vibes: I love the laidback feel of this shop. The music is on point and not too loud. The sayings on the wall and around the shop are super encouraging and motivating. It's a perfect place to work remotely, and many people did during the time I was there (I was also working remotely). Great place to get work done! Parking: Lots of parking - it's part of a larger shopping center Vibe/atmosphere: I went during a weekday in the morning and everyone there was working. The environment has plenty of spaces to sit down, bring out your laptop and focus. Food Ordered: Iced macchiato - it was a basic drink but it was good and gave me the caffeine boost I needed to study. Wait Time: 0 minutes - I was able to order right away. Service: The service was fast and friendly. I didn't see the WIFI password posted directly on the wall and they were nice enough to point me to it when I asked. I was excited to try this local coffee shop. Unfortunately, it's a big disappointment. I ordered a bagel breakfast sandwich and a whole-milk latte that totally $18 with tip. While I tried to shake off the sticker shock and enjoy the comfy chairs, the food and beverage made it worse. The sandwich was overcooked and sad. I wasn't offered a receipt, and I can't understand how my two items totaled that much. Worst of all, my latte was undrinkable. I asked the pack of young women behind the counter if they could help. That's when they told me that they didn't have whole milk, so they added some half and half. Something was very off with this drink, so I gave up on it. In Marietta at Lidl's shopping for groceries and I practically ran into Marietta Perks in the next plaza. Marietta Perks is in Marietta in a busy shopping plaza off of Whitlock Ave with plenty of parking. As I walked in hit with the wonderful aroma of coffee and greeted by the barista behind the counter. Perks had a very chill vibe as there were several people inside hanging out in their own little world enjoy coffee and baked goods. It was pretty busy when I got there so after placing my order I sat in one of the comfy couches and waited for my order. The barista was kind enough to bring my order out to me when it was ready. I had the perkspiration which is their house blend with a shot of espresso. I added almond milk and caramel it was so good and strong. There were a variety of baked goods that all looked good and I opted for the pumpkin muffin. While it was on the small size it was so good, moist and delicious. I will be back. read more

Marietta Perks is a super cute cafe nestled in a plaza located minutes from downtown Marietta. When you get there, there is plenty of parking available in the parking lot. The cafe is actually quite large with plenty of tables to set up a day of work or studying. There is an ebb and flow of customers that come in throughout the day, and they are open from 6AM - 6PM. They have a great coffee menu to choose from and delicious pastries available to eat. The coffee is really good here. 10/10 and I'm picky. Also, I'm not sure if the pastries are made in-house but they look good all the same. Next time,I will ask because I love a good pastry with my coffee. The wifi is your typical cafe wifi. The signal tends to lag a bit, but it's to be expected. I will definitely update when I come back. read more

I initially asked for an iced coffee as the menu mentions that you can get the standard drip coffee iced. I was asked if I wanted cold brew instead. I inquired if the iced drip coffee would just be hot coffee over ice rather than brew left chilled so I went with the cold brew instead. It had a very burnt taste to it. I probably should have just chanced the hot coffee over ice. The cold brew was twice the price of a medium iced coffee anyways. We also ordered an iced chai latte and it was worse than the cold brew. It was extremely watered down and weak tasting. It pretty much tasted like spiced water with a splash of milk. The environment was nice, but the coffee not so much. We left feeling like we had wasted 15 bucks on two very mediocre drinks. read more

I've tried to give this place several chances before reviewing, because I really want them to do well since they are my closest local coffee shop. Unfortunately, after 2 years of opportunities, their coffee is getting worse. I typically drink black coffee and rarely add anything to it. If you add a lot of cream, sugar, or flavor to your coffee, your experience may vary. My absolute favorite thing to get is black cold brew coffee. Having also been a barista, I notice a lot of problems with their cold brew. First, it tastes burnt, which will only happen if they're using stale beans or trying to pass off left over hot coffee as cold brew - a lot of cafes use the left over hot coffee as a base for making iced coffee and frappes, but they should never use it for cold brew. Secondly, it has a tangy smoky taste that typically happens with iced coffee that has been left in the fridge too long. If they're using left over hot coffee, it will go bad faster. I've had similar bad experiences with their regular hot coffee and espresso. Service is not the fastest, which I wouldn't mind if they took the time to craft a great cup of coffee, but if you have 2 people working the counter and nobody in line, it shouldn't take 15 minutes to deliver bad cold brew. read more

This is the perfect place if you need to get some work done alongside a hot cup of coffee and a breakfast sandwich made fresh to your liking. I believe there are also meeting rooms available for reservation which I had no idea until I passed by to use the restroom! haha. I would not support this business. They over charge and pay their employees barely minimum wage. Management here doesn't know how to manage staff in a healthy manner including firing employees via text, not giving adequate breaks by Ga law standards , manipulating schedules, and forcing them to only eat food from this establishment while working. You will be reported to the BBB but in the meantime your customers should know what their money supports (or doesn't support). read more
