I have very little pain, and the affects of the general anesthesia are subsiding. Dr. Politz spends time with his patient before the surgery, explaining everything and answering questions. He just called me tonight to make sure I was doing ok. How many surgeons give a patient their cell number? His bedside manner is superb, and his skill and experience is evidenced by his having performed over 10,000 thyroid and parathyroid surgeries. He is one of the best in the country - people come from other states and even other countries to be cared for by him.

I like to make my own informed decision based on what a Dr tells me and this Dr is very arrogant. . I told him I was hesitant about getting the Xen stent at this time because I was going in for Mohs surgery the following week . He replied that my reasoning was BS and unless I followed his recommendation he would not have me as a patient ! Very unprofessional and condescending . I was completely taken aback and should have walked out at that stage . The only positive thing about this bad experience were the office staff who were friendly and nice .
