This is the longest wait time we had for a doctor's appointment. I understand surgeon's busy…read moreschedule but waiting for more than 2 hours for just a follow up consultation cannot be justified with the delay . The surgeon tremendously did a good job on my husband neuro procedure but should give consideration seeing the patient on a reasonable time. Is it how it's being done to each patient by this office after the surgery? Hopefully a good turn out for the meeting up soon.

Dr. Thomas Link, MD, MS - Neurosurgery…read more THANK YOU EVERYONE SO MUCH FOR MAKING ME FEEL AT EASE AND WELCOMED. On June 9 2023 I'm back at the office after my cerebral angiogram procedure/surgery done 2 weeks ago at North Shore Hospital, NY by Dr. Thomas Link, MD, MS - Neurosurgery I walk in to the office and welcomed with smiles from Maharanie Manmohan (Front Desk) Margo McKenzie (Front Desk) & Rebecca Kingston (Front Desk). While checking me in we had a blast chatting. They loved my outfit that was custom made by a tailor in Nigeria. One of the 8 outfits my mommy sent to me. Also everyone looked amazing. What lovely ladies. Very professional, kind, warm and caring. The wait was not long at all. Keisha (Medical Assistant) came to get me. Very professional, polite and kind. She went through the entire process with me. Nice sense of humor which made me feel at ease for I was there for a brain issue. Later came Dr. Thomas Link, MD, MS - Neurosurgery and Cindy Queliza - Nurse Practitioner. What a gorgeous lady. Dr. Thomas Link is hot as well. Cindy Queliza and I have spoken on the phone numerous times. First time we met in person. Well so since my aneurysm Feb 2008 at Bellevue Hospital. We all tried to get my records but unfortunately Bellevue records warehouse had burnt down years ago. Dr. Thomas Link, MD, MS - Neurosurgery showed me the photos from the cerebral angiogram 2 weeks ago. I had another aneurysm below the one I had in 2008. The clip that was put on my 4th nerve where the 1st aneurysm which made me permanently blind is now corroding. Dr. Thomas Link, MD, MS - Neurosurgery explained all my options in great detail so for my peace of mind I will have the cerebral angiogram again the coil embolization. This will prevent the aneurysm from rapturing. With this procedure there's a 5-9% chance of death or stroke. But I would rather have this done than have the aneurysm rapture at any time. Both Dr. Thomas Link, MD, MS - Neurosurgery and Cindy Queliza - Nurse Practitioner where very compassionate, caring and patient in explaining everything in great detail. I felt I'm in great hands. So now I have a OGBYN surgery on July 18 2023. Neck surgery in August 2023. Will have the brain surgery cerebral angiogram again the coil embolization Jan/Feb 2024. This way to give my body enough time to heal. I want to thank everyone for making my experience not stressful, very professional, bringing smiles and laughs to me. Very much appreciated for it is a very traumatic time and thing to deal with. ALL LOVES HERES.

I have seen another neurologist but she wasn't very supportive and bedside manner weren't so good. Dr. Schoenberg was a breath of fresh air. I finally feel like I am on the right road to living a better life then I had before. Dr. Schoenberg said she wants to see a smile my face again and she is always in my corner. I'm always a crying mess when I call or go to the office. Hannah and Evie are so kind, helpful, attentive, and compassionate as well. They make you feel like a real person with feelings and not just a patient with money. She also was chair of neurology/epilepsy at what used to be LIJ which is now Northwell. She knows her stuff and will not let you down. She even hugged me after our visit and told me she is there for me always. She is an absolute angel. I am so happy I found her AND her office. If you need a neurologist she is the best. Trust me I work in the medical field and have worked with many doctors of all personalities. Just by how the staff acts I can tell they are treated well which is also important.

Super busy location, who knew there was such need, but I suppose I'm not surprised…read more This was my first visit...Finally as I was telling the primary that it was where I needed to be and be seen by. I was here to see Dr. Waldron for a neurology visit, as I needed to find out and confirm once in for all that I had a pinched nerve (so annoying). Dr. Waldron and her staff were very professional. Talk about a well oiled machine from front desk, to assistant, to her, to the final exiting step to confirm next visits. Needless to say, she was finally the first Dr to really make me feel that someone was listening and truly trying to address my concerns. She pretty much confirmed from first visit I was most likely on point thinking it's a pinched nerve. Of course further professional testing on her side of things will confirm that or not. She was thorough enough to tell me about next steps and what could be to come if needed. Let's hope not needed, as that extreme didn't sound too fun at all, but at least the new nugget of knowledge was given upfront. Should be interesting to see what results of upcoming visits yield and confirm. At least I know that so far things are conformable through this first visit, and hopefully for the same to come. As a side note, know that parking is limited. Only a few spots in the lot for Medical Patients. A few metered spots out front of location. So good luck on that front. The warning of tows/boots I hear are serious.

However, trying to reach the office is impossible. I have left numerous messages for Asha within a two-week period, and I never received a return call. This first happened to me back in February. I left a message every week for six weeks before I got a response. The only reason the practice manager called me then was because I had left a message on the review part of their website { which no longer exists}. The office staff at the front desk is, yes, very rude. It's a shame that these are the first people one encounters when walking into the office, because once one is called to the back for testing or an appointment, everyone there is very professional.

Also,…read morethis location is in a good school district and feels well-maintained, safe, and well-resourced. The facility is bright, clean and modern. The staff members are welcoming and friendly. The care team here is patient, kind, reliable, caring and understanding. The doctors accommodate my special needs by extending my appointment times to 30 minutes when needed. One experience especially stood out to me. I passed out at the reception area, and another patient immediately called for help. The nurse and nurse practitioner immediately came out, helped me onto an exam table, and stayed with me until I fully regained consciousness. They showed genuine concern for patients safety and well-being, and the nurse practitioner even escorted me out to the parking lot afterward. That level of compassion and attentiveness meant a lot to me. I have had very different experiences in the past at Charles B Wang Community Health Center, an Asian clinic, and that's one of the reasons I decided to move my care to NYU Langone. Here I feel safe, respected, supported and taken seriously as a patient. About 90% of the patients here are White, 2% Asian, 5% Hispanic, and 3% African American. Around 70% were born in the USA and came to the U.S. before age 12, 80% came from highly educated families, and 70% are financially well off. I am pleased with the quality of care here and feel comfortable coming here. Even though I am always the only Asian person here, I felt welcomed, safe, respected, and supported, especially as a person with a disability in that environment. As a person with a degree who values quality Healthcare, I highly recommend this NYU Langone facility.
