However, trying to reach the office is impossible. I have left numerous messages for Asha within a two-week period, and I never received a return call. This first happened to me back in February. I left a message every week for six weeks before I got a response. The only reason the practice manager called me then was because I had left a message on the review part of their website { which no longer exists}. The office staff at the front desk is, yes, very rude. It's a shame that these are the first people one encounters when walking into the office, because once one is called to the back for testing or an appointment, everyone there is very professional.

I was examined by Lana on 6/23/2026 and was prescribed a medication that provided no relief from pain. I placed a call requesting help from Lana on 6/24 and do understand that she was not in that day, but was told that she would get back to me the following day upon her return on 6/25. After a lack of response on the 25th I placed several more calls leaving messages for her, or if she were unavailable to please have someone else get back to me. I was assured that the several messages were delivered and that someone would get back to me. I had explained that I was in extreme pain, unable to sleep for almost a week, and that I would appreciate the possibility of another medication or other solution for relief. I never received at least the courtesy of a callback from the office. I consider that a total disregard for the welfare and comfort of the patient and totally unacceptable.

The wait time in this office is long. Very long. Very very long. In fact, there are occasions, when I check-in, and I'm told to go to the mall, go to movies, go have lunch, etc. The longest I waited for my appointment is close to five hours. The quickest I have ever been seen in three hours. Just know, if you plan an appointment, it's best to have a backup plan to kill time.

He seems to have a complete disregard for patient's time and other commitments. Waited 4 hours, then I had enough and left. Other patients said this is how he runs every day. Front desk staff is not helpful either: They give false wait time estimates (or they also don't understand the doctor's system). If they could at least give accurate estimates, we could plan accordingly, take work calls while waiting, reschedule subsequent appointments, etc. - instead they just always say "you're next". They also do not take phone calls, let alone emails. Very difficult scheduling process. I've had enough of them. I have found a new neurologist and am referring my friends and family there as well.

I happened to be visiting for the week, and it was very frustrating for me that every office he was referred to did not have any appointments for two months. I spoke to his chiropractor, who is a family friend, and he stressed the fact that waiting two months was not acceptable. My father is hard of hearing, and not really savvy on social media. Since YELP is my go to for everything, I decided to research other offices and see if I could find him an appointment much sooner. Being in the dental industry, it is very important for me to read credentials and reviews from patients. I was very impressed with Dr. Scopelliti's back ground, so with fingers crossed, I made the call. Ladies and gentlemen, I felt like I was reaching out to an old friend. Debbie was so kind and understanding! Having an aging parent can be very challenging, but she was very patient as my dad chimed in his two cents from the background. She was able to get my father an appointment in four days. We chatted for a bit about what it is like to be a patient provider. She told me about the doctor, and the one on one experience he provides. I sent her dad's insurance information, and she was kind enough to reach out within the hour to explain about his patient portion. I was really looking forward to meeting the team, but circumstances came up and I sent my mom. I wanted her to be able to understand what the Dr. was diagnosing, and due to HIPPA regulations, I wanted her to be able to have future discussions if need be. When they came home, Dad gave rave reviews about Dr. S. He treated him for a full hour, had strict Covid guidelines, and dad had a better understanding about what was happening to his body. I am so very thankful for these people. In this time of uncertainty, you think the worst outcome possible. Dad was convinced he had one foot in the grave, and was discussing his burial wishes. I told him only the good die young, and he has plenty of years left! We have a little work to do to get him on the mend, but thanks to Dr. S and his extremely thorough exam....there will be many more visits with my family. I was instructed to arrive 15 minutes prior to my appointment to take care of paperwork. Denise was extremely organized and helpful. A few of my medical records had not been forwarded to the office, so she reached out and had them ready to go for my appointment. The waiting room was clean, quiet, and not at all crowded. (It was really nice to see a medical facility properly spacing out patients.) After my appointment, Denise clearly explained next steps as far as followups, and worked with my schedule to book convenient future appointments. Dr. Kelemen was kind, knowledgable, and thorough. He took the time to explain the exam, and encouraged me to ask questions as we talked and worked through my symptoms.
