I have two insurance plans and they sent a claim to the primary but not the secondary. Resulting in them trying to resolve their financial problems at my expense. They have now transferred the balance to a collection agency for them to try to collect. I requested they reach out to the secondary insurance company which they replied saying they did and it was denied. However, when I spoke with my insurance company they advised Oral surgery group never reached out to them. So they intentionally lied to avoid sending the claim to the secondary insurance company. Although, the surgery and Doctors involved were good. Due the issues I have experienced afterwards working with them I will be taking my business elsewhere.

The area that they do fillings and other dental work is completely separate, so the children are not unnecessarily scared by looking at the instruments. I was assured they would. Office staff was pleasant, Dr. Ladman was nice and explained everything. I was a little hesitant the day of my daughter's wisdom teeth extraction he want sure about the left/right side. I don't know if it wasn't marked on x-ray sent but I think that should have been figured out prior to her surgery if he wasn't sure. She only had 3 that had to be removed. But it all worked out. I had to pay a fraction up front as opposed to the other oral surgeon and they submitted to my medical without any problem and my medical paid a portion. It took forever for the medical claim to be processed but they didn't call or send me any bills to request additional $ since they still have to submit to dental. They are definitely more knowledgeable about billing practices then the other oral surgeon we went to initially

However, his staff (billing…read moreperson) was rude and yelled on the phone after I told her they billed incorrectly for a regular cleaning (they submitted as a more specialized cleaning). My insurance asked for more information which they refused to send. When I asked the staff about it, the woman yelled at me on the phone and said if I didn't pay it would go to Collection at which point I said fine and told them I would never go back. If you have anything done, be sure to ask questions up front about billing codes and such. They will try to overcharge and collect for it.
