Just moved from the area and this review is long overdue. Had an injured bicep from weight lifting…read moreand elbow pain from work (mouse clicking!). Dealt with both for years and was only able to go to the gym for 4-8 weeks before pain would stop me. Finally, following other recommendations I made an appointment w/ Bull City and while the diagnosis of the elbow conflicted with what a doctor had previously told me I decided to just go with it and trust them. Turns out they had a much better understanding than previous medical professionals I'd seen. Through treatment and the exercises they gave me to do, which were different than doctors recommendations in the past, I actually saw steady improvement. There were setbacks here and there as I pushed myself in the gym but their physical therapists guided me on "good pain" vs "bad pain" and we adjusted as we went. Now through weeks of sessions with the team at Bull City PT I'm on month 10 of lifting and have put on 20+ pounds of mostly muscle. I didn't think this was possible without surgery. Highly recommend anyone in pain or being held back by an injury at least get a consultation - could change everything.

His manual therapy skills are exceptional, to include dry needling. I'm picky about my PTs, and he ranks right up there. Love having the ability to schedule evening visits.

I have now been seeing Paul for my back and hip pains for many years. I appreciate his thoughtful analysis of my situation and his personalized formulation of exercises to alleviate my pains. He has helped me understand the science behind Feldenkrais and the interplay of my skeleton, nerves, and muscles. Part of the therapy is developing a kinesthetic sense/body awareness so that you can compare movements on one side of your body versus the other side. Paul is expert in directing your attention and asking the right questions. As Paul is also a licensed physical therapist, my appointments are partially covered by Medicare and my secondary health insurance. My sessions at the moment are via video telemedicine and they have been an excellent resource for care in my home. Paul's experienced eye catches movement disfunction. Recently he asked me to direct my computer's camera to an area where I could walk. He watched. And I returned to converse with him via my computer screen. He said, "I'm going to show you an exaggerated version of how I saw you walk." He proceeded to walk with a distinctly hunched over old-person's walk, and then he said, "I could see you beginning to walk like this, so let me show you exercises you can do to counteract this tendency you are developing." I don't want to move with pain, or walk like an old person. I rely on Paul to make this possible.

At the end of class we cocoon ourselves in the aerial fabric with optional aromatherapy. An experience not to be missed!
