Mark communicated with me throughout the search process as the car I was seeking was in high demand. A vehicle became available and I pulled the trigger. The car was sold without any dealer add-ons. I was kept informed as to when the car would arrive at the dealership. On the date of purchase, Mark and I took the car for a test drive and explained all of the technology in a very understandable manner. The time spent with the F & I associate, Nick Kostadinov, was much more pleasant than expected with no pressure. I had a good experience at Kenosha Toyota (at least compared to Honda Kenosha down the road - go check out my review of them if you're interested). We dealt with sales consultant Arnold interested in looking at a 2026 Toyota Corolla. He was friendly and pleasant to deal with. Of course we had to do the classic negotiation with him and his manager and the whole wheel and deal the whole process of negotiating for buying a new car, but I didn't find any dishonesty/sneakiness that you find at a lot of other car dealerships. Toyota's offer was much more fair than Honda's offer for one of their vehicles and more fair on the trade in value of the car we were trading in and they were willing to price match if we found a better trade in offer elsewhere. Also, the sales consultants do not work off commission here which is a plus for potential buyers. So after dealing with them, and after doing our due diligence checking out Honda Kenosha, we ultimately purchased the 2026 Toyota Corolla from them. I had a terrible experience with Kenosha Toyota and their General Sales Manager, Kevin Michelson, I was already working with another dealership (Serra Toyota) for buying a new land cruiser and had officially appraised my trade-in. Kevin reached out to ask about my previous experience with his sales team while a was in the market for a car, and I told him I was going to buy from Serra. He insisted he could beat their quote but needed to inspect my car. Since Kenosha Toyota is far away from me ( I live in Port Washington), I explicitly told Kevin: "Serra already inspected my car. If you can agree to match their $40,000 trade-in offer, I'll buy it from you, Otherwise, I'm going with Serra. I do not want to go back and forth between dealership no more."Kevin texted me back and explicitly said YES to the $40,000 trade-in price and send me the quote and then the final buyer's order; Based entirely on his written word, I drove all the way out there to pick up the new car. Instead of honoring the deal, they made me wait until the very last minute on delivery day, only for Kevin to backtrack and say, "My sales manager said I can't offer you the $40,000."When I confronted Kevin about breaking his word and making me waste my time, he told me I should go to another dealer to appraise my car!! we got into an argument. I demanded my paperwork back and walked out. They are completely dishonest, refuse to honor written text confirmations, and rely on shady bait-and-switch tactics to lure you through the door.I have attached a picture of the text message and emails from him ,where Kevin explicitly agreed to the price. I opted to pay for the service rather than use one of the oil changes included in the price of the car. I informed him I only two hours, which he was very understanding of and got right to understanding my vehicle requirements. He provided a few options, arranged a test drive and got my trade in vehicle queued for the apprasial staff. We were working on sale finalization within an hour. He was too focused on selling service/maintenance packages and I was held up past my allotted time and late to another commitment. Barely sold my 2024 Tundra with 12k miles. Would never buy another one!! Terrible supposed turbo lag especially in intersections...dangerous lunging into traffic! Service was zero help! Passenger doors misaligned and couldn't be corrected! Tech took me on lot showing me an entire row of new Tundras with the same misalignment on passenger doors. Toyota said they would issue recall only if they had enough complaints. Lastly the 3.4 turbo recall nightmare! Short block as well as long block. Now starting to recall 2024's. Car buying is usually a stressful experience, not because of the vehicle or your ability to buy the vehicle but because of the constant scam feel you have about the dealer trying to pull a scam over you. Do they really have the vehicle they claim to have in stock, what is the markup - are you losing thousands due to some dealer calculation, the drama, attempts to give you bad financing when you know you can beat their initial finance by 2% (I am a finance major and this doesn't work) the hidden expenses they try to throw on without you noticing. So basically you against the dealer-ready for battle. And this happens regardless of the make of car, I have purchased 4 Mercedes in the past few years and always had this feeling. One would expect that, at least at Mercedes dealer you could bypass these factors, but no. Well, I finally found a dealer (and I have bought many vehicles) where this anxious, don't scam me feeling is no longer the case: Kenosha Toyota. It started with my son's purchasing experience. He was in the market for a new SUV. He researched vehicles with respect to performance, depreciation, modern features, reliability and many other factors and he decided to go with Toyota 4Runner Limited. He used the Toyota Smartpath feature to locate the vehicle and although it was a drive, we decided to go to Kenosha Toyota. We have Toyota dealers closer but this one had the right vehicle plus the ones closer, I have heard mixed feedback from friends. After we pulled in, Kim came to the parking lot to greet us and we took the vehicle he was interested in for a test drive. Kim explained the business model of this dealership - no haggling. This is similar to the Carmax experience, but no new cars at Carmax. The transaction was great. It didn't feel like an adversarial experience. My son ended up purchasing the vehicle. No haggling, no drama, no let's con you for things you don't need. I understand the dealership needs to make money but hidden scams do not lead to a good customer experience. After this experience, I decided I wanted this 2024 4Runner also. So I worked with Kim and Mike who quickly located the exactly the vehicle I wanted (I also wanted the color my son got which is not the easiest to locate). I was able to have the new car delivered just two days after I decided to go for it. And again after buying 4 Mercedes vehicles and many others - this was the best purchasing experience I hve had - ever. Will I make the extra drive for service? Yes, they have an air-conditioned shop for their employees. And we all know if you treat your employees well, they will provide a great experience to your customers. And this was clear from working with Kim and Mike-they delivered results and in a great way. The dealership is modern and clean as well. 2024 TOYOTA TUNDRA ISSUE WITH MISALIGNED PASSENGER DOORS! NO FIX! Dealer service dept says this defect is normal. Brought my 2024 Tundra to Kenosha Toyota where I purchased it to align passenger side doors. I was told by Kenosha Toyota service dept the doors are not adjustable and service associate showed me another truck with same problem. I looked at a row of new Tundras with the same misaligned passenger doors and some were worse than mine. Hard to believe Toyota is shipping their new Tundras from the factory with misaligned doors as well as no way to adjust these doors. I was told by a Toyota consumer satisfaction representative that they are aware of this production issue and if Toyota gets enough complaints, they will issue a recall. After days of negotiating, we finally were ready to buy our brand new 2025 camry. But then the lies started happening. Was told that our camry was being shipped to this store, and that wasn't the case. They drove it 4 hours and put 150 miles on it without telling us. Then they said they waived the delivery fee, but were still making us pay $200 of that. All in all it was fine, and Jake was an excellent salesman. But when we wanted to go home and talk it through one last time before we made the purchase, the sales manager Mike came over and told us that we are completely wasting their time. BUYERS BEWARE: This dealership will attempt to scam you! I traded in a vehicle and purchased another vehicle from them. I then received an email a month later saying that I still owe an almost $500 balance on my payoff for the vehicle I traded in to them. Does that make any sense? The email I received from Phillip DeSalvo was extremely threatening, stating that I gave them inaccurate information & if I did not address the matter immediately then my credit would be affected. When I pushed back on them stating that I was prepared to dispute this with them as well as any collection agency everything changed. I then received an e-mail from their GM stating that they now discovered it was a mistake on their end and that I no longer owe the balance. I have no doubt that I am not the only customer they have attempted to pull this over on. There are many customers that would not put up a fight and just pay the "balance," not knowing any better. Toyota Kenosha sold me a RAV4 LE which is trash to begin with, the car is wobblily and mere wind can blow you away. I don't think I can use this car during winter. In to that the sold me additional service contract without disclosing the contract price, they took advantage of me and coerced me sign a contract that they drafted without my consent. When I brought it up to my sales person he acted like he was not involve in the financial aspect of that sale, he brought in the finance manager who acted like he wasn't aware of anything they were doing. On top of this they charged me an interest rate of 7.9 even though my credit was in the 790ish. I was taken advantage of, and no one cared about explaining anything to me. Service Department: they have no integrity. I dropped my truck off to address a recall notice for a seal on the overhead lamp. I dropped the car off at 7:30 in the morning when I returned at 2 PM. The car was on the lift. All four tires been removed when the tires were removed, they gave me a litany of excuses. I turned around to discover that my tires were now on a different vehicle. The service manager said we borrow them to test a problem with a different truck. No one asked my permission they did not address the recall when I said please replace my tires. I'm leaving. They said they would make it up to me. What does that mean ? You took propertyThat wasn't your own. My tires were brand new. Who does that? When I confronted the service manager and asked him how he would feel if someone took the tires off of his vehicle and placed them on a different vehicle he had no answer. Do not waste your time or your energy. They do not care. They will try to take advantage of you. I planned a visit to this dealership over the course of a few days. I spoke with both Warren and Frank before making the multi-hour trip to ensure the car I wanted was in the condition listed, and that we agreed on the value of my trade-in. Upon arriving, I found the "super clean, near perfect, 'i would for real sell it to my brother, bro'" car I was planning on driving away with on a lift with a failed clutch. I was promised all week the car was ready to go and in reality they couldn't even start it. Frank and Warren offered a weak apology, attempted to persuade me to buy the non-functional car anyway (couldn't start it or drive it, and they couldn't tell me when it would be fixed), and refused to negotiate or come down on price. It was laughable. I left feeling insulted and I wasted an entire day. Warren is a joke. Frank is joke. I would not give them your time. read more

9/27/2022 - Rick P. at Kenosha Toyota is a great person. He is an honest and straight forward specialist, providing me with all the information available. There is no pressure in buying anything there. They are always very social able and you always feel good leaving the dealership whether you buy a car there or not. Their customer service is great and it is what all car dealerships should be like. My old Rav4 just had a blow head gasket. I urgently needed a new car. I went to multiple dealership nearby and was expected to pay over $10,000 in fees that was not unnecessary. Mark up fees of $4,500, ceramic coating (that it is already applied at the manufacturing plant and I have to pay for it) service fee of $1,800. I was very upset leaving those dealerships knowing well that they were screwing me over for bogus fees even though I didn't buy a car there. At Kenosha Toyota, I couldn't be any happier. I purchased a car that I felt good paying for it. I felt good that I was not screwed by them and felt the pressure to buy. If you are looking for a new car, see what Kenosha Toyota has in inventory and visit them first before you go to the other dealers. Bought a vehicle on August 17 from this Toyota after driving it for 3 days I noticed issues with this vehicle so on the 4th day of having this car I wanted to return it with in my 7 days guarantee then main manger told me to keep riding it till the issue occurs again and they could try to fix it or resolve the issue so I drove it for 3k miles more (still within the first 30 days) then I noticed all the issues happening again now I spoke to at least 6-7 mangers and no one knows anything and keep telling me I went over then exchange policy so at this point they want me to trade it in and lose money and have a bigger upside down loan so be careful shopping with this dealership they will do anything in their favor. read more

We purchased a 2019 q50 with factory warranty on August 21st 2022. The car had 20,800 miles and the buyers guide was completed without reflecting any interior or exterior issues. With time we noticed the Q50 would randomly lag, but after driving a bit and turning the car off and on it drove better. On February 27th 2023, a little over 6 months of having the vehicle, not only was the car lagging but after arriving home the car would not turn off. We drove the car to our nearest Infiniti so they could help us out, since the car was still under warranty. Unfortunately the service department was not available but told us they would be able to see us right away in the morning. The car did not turn off until 9:45 pm that night, over 4 hours since first experiencing the problem. The next morning, we dropped the car off and shortly after received a call from the Infiniti dealer letting us know not only had they found the issue but this had been an exsisting issue showing on their data system. The wiring module had been exposed and water had gotten in and shortened the entire harness out. Infiniti let us know it would not be covered under the bumper to bumper warranty. Infiniti quoted us $9,000 to fix and Kenosha Toyota was notified of the issue and made plans to pick the car up on March 2nd. General Manager, Steve Brandon, emailed us March 2nd: "As I stated on the phone, Kenosha Toyota is more than willing to help you get into a new vehicle to replace this one in a manner that is fair to all parties involved." Steve went as far as sending us different options for us to look at including an older Lexus with more miles than the Q50 we purchased. This entire time we were led to believe Kenosha Toyota would be helping us find a SIMILAR car to replace the Q50. At no point did we recommend a more expensive car or expect it. On March 3rd when we went to pick up a loner car from Kenosha Toyota, we were told to expect a call the following Monday March 6th to go over next steps for us. We did not receive a call Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday. We called them Thursday March 9th and were told Steve would be calling us the following day at 8 am. On Friday March 10th we received an email (no phone call) from Steve now letting us know the cost of the damage was roughly 8,000 and we would need to cover half of that. We have been caught off guard and completely baffled that it has taken them this long for them to give us this response. After first going to another dealership that "upcharged" calling it a high demand fee, we stopped at Kenosha Toyota and our sales person, Khayla G showed us the vehicle we were looking for. It was actually an even higher level package and by the time she took off the dealer discount and military discount and added only standard fees and tax, we got a higher end vehicle for several thousand less than at previous dealer. Khayla was very knowledgeable, patient with all our questions and handled everything with new purchase efficiently. No pressure to "buy now before someone else grabs it" tactic.
