I recommend this Urgicare over all the rest of Urgent cares. The Staff here actually care for and care about the people they treat. There is a difference between just getting treatment and being cared for. The knowledge and professional courtesy the staff treat you with stands out from many other health care providers. On a more personable note, I have been in a doctors office with a health concern and was told directly by a doctor he doesn't have the time to address the issue to make another appointment. Never has Urgicare told me or any family and friends this. They make sure you have the treatment you need and address any concerns that might have. I no longer go to a clinic where I sit and wait forever to be seen by a doctor that rushes through an appointment because he is to busy. I will always go to this Urgicare! Please save your money and just go to Aurora walk in or Froedtert walk in. It's much cheaper and with the online wait list a lot shorter of a wait. The healthcare service is mediocre at best. Also issues with billing seems to be a struggle for them. They sent me a billing statement back in October 2023 for my appointment. I paid it in full in October no problem. They just contacted me today 3/29/24 saying they made a mistake on my statement in October and they just now updated my statement balance in March 2024. I called customer service and it's on review. Again go to literally any other walk in and you'll get better care. This company only cares about their corporate greed. read more

Very uncaring and unprofessional. The male doctor has belly hanging out, female receptionist on personal phone call entire time. My visit was for a simple uti, the bactrim ($10 out of pocket) didn't work but cleared up my cough. I called within the same week (I paid $95 out of pocket for my visit). I waited for a call back, they claimed they didn't know the schedule and the doctor I saw would have to write a new prescription but she's only in every 2 weeks so I would have to pay again. I've had way better care at the walk in on 85th. They're not open as late but this place is all about money, not care. read more

Every time I come in, even if I am the only person there, nurses spend 15+ minutes gossiping about other workers LOUDLY. Then you can finally get a room. The older male nurse practitioner could've cared less. Poor service. It's upsetting hearing nurses refer to things as "retarded," as well. If any other patients are there, what's going on is discussed between workers at a volume I can hear private information. Wouldn't recommend. read more

BEST CARE EVER I have to be 100% honest and say that this place is amazing. Imelda is like an angel. I can't get into all of the particulars because I have to maintain my privacy but I would highly recommend this place. I spent days on the phone trying to find a doctor who would quote me a price but I couldn't get a straight answer from anyone. In fact, all of those other offices said they would send me a bill two weeks after my visit. What? That makes no sense. It's moments like this we find out our heath care system is broken and dictated by the insurance companies. I was about to give up when I came across the website for this location. It basically said we won't charge a ton and that the patient comes first before the financial aspect. This is how doctors should be. They should worry more about the wellness of the patient first and not about getting rich. I will also tell you that this location will actually quote you prices and they will stand behind all of those quotes. I still don't understand why other doctors offices can't do that. Imelda renewed my faith in the kindness of humanity. She showed me that this location doesn't lie and that they stand behind what is printed on their website. The admin staff shows up right at opening. Seems like they should be there at least a few minutes before opening. The Nurse Practicioners are not there right when they open so you are set up to wait even if you are the first and only person there. There was someone coughing and sneezing and not covering her mouth in the waiting room. It would be appropriate for the staff to offer them a mask or at least clean up behind them when they went in the exam room. Then, I sat and listened to the staff have a 15 minute conversation (nothing work related) while there were 5 people in the waiting room. Not professional. Then, on top of that, they said they called in my prescription and it should take about 30 minutes. Then, when I got to CVS, they had not received anything so I had to wait another 20 minutes. Follow up like this is frustrating when you don't feel well in the first place. read more

I was feeling dizzy and nauseous and went in to see what was going on. The NPs and MAs were so nice and helpful! I got bloodwork done and had my results the next day! Highly recommend going here when you need a quick check up. read more

I have never had a medical center make me feel worse than I did when I came in. I fell down the bottom of my stairs because my ankle gave out, all of my weight landed on my foot and my foot immediately bruised and a little swelling occurred. I could not bear weight onto my foot, I could not walk. iced it, elevated it and gave it a few hours. went in here and told the front desk and the nurse in the room what happened. Dr. Faud, his name is something like that, came into my room without knocking. he immediately said, "so, you didn't actively hurt yourself?" I replied, "is that a joke?". He said, "no, like you didn't fall down the stairs." Um, that is what happened. He never introduced himself, nor did he ask who I was. Never once used my name. He proceeded to make me feel like I didn't belong there and that I was wasting his time. They took xrays, told me I sprained my foot. The doctor told me to take FOUR ibuprofen at once, I have had ulcers from doing this before. He prescribed me an over the counter anti inflammatory which did absolutely nothing for my pain. He proceeded to tell me to try to walk on it. He did not tell me to ice and elevate until my mother asked. Barely gave me any information regarding treatment. I had to ask to have my foot wrapped in an ace bandage. Basically, when he was explaining treatment he was walking out the door at the same time. Today has rolled around and my foot has double the pain. I called Dr. Faud on the phone and again, he does not seem like he cares about my pain. Told me now, to stay off of it even though he told me to try to start bearing weight on it yesterday. Said there is no reason to come back in because his treatment plan would not change. It is really nice to know that you do not care about my pain. Your nurses are great and thorough, you need new, fresh doctor's who still care about patients. Never recommending, never going back. I did receive a second opinion here in Colorado and turns out I now need to go to a physical therapist and wear a brace. The specialist does not expect a full recovery. 4 months later, I still have severe pain. read more

Got here and only two people in waiting area, one was waiting on significant other. Got checked in quickly. Man with the beard at the check in desk was very friendly and helpful. Waiting area is very clean, pretty quiet today too which is nice. Got called back in about 10 minutes after turning in paperwork. The nurse I think her name is Allie, very sweet girl. Dr Heide is great, very kind natured doctor, went over a lot of information with me. Over all I think this is a pretty good place to come if you're in need of medical attention and can't get into your primary doctor or if you're like me just passing through this place is perfect, for a truck driver you are able to park in there lot without trailer only, or at the Lowes area with or without a trailer. read more

Very unhappy with the service we've received here. Gone twice for separate issues and hoped it was bad luck the first time. This last time, I was in for a terrible cough and chest pain. Was repeatedly asked about symptoms for the flu, and then received a flu test even though I dismissed all the flu symptoms. Doctor Heidi said "a lot of people have been coming in for the flu." Got no where with that, so she prescribed a cough suppressant... a day later I'm in the ER with no relief and find out I have moderate to severe pneumonia in BOTH lungs and that a cough suppressant is exactly the opposite of what I needed. I needed something to loosen the cough and let some of the fluid build up out for relief.. now have a long road of recovery ahead. Thanks for nothing but a setback. read more

I attempted to go to your Kenosha Urgicare for a workers comp related finger injury. Your office manager, Ashley, should NOT be working with people. I was asking a question about what information was needed for the claim and she was so rude and had an attitude immediately. She also told me they would not even take me back until I had all the information. I told her she had a bad attitude and she proceeded to talk to a co worker about how people like me get service and then don't pay the bill, as if she knows anything about me. I was on the phone with my boss getting the information necessary and I told him how rude she was being, and she walked up on me and told me that I could not be seen because I was talking badly about her and her coworkers. She literally got on my face and then attempted to snatch the paperwork I had been completing out of my hands, while threatening to call the police on me. She then chased me out the door screaming a me and threatening me physically as well as again, threatening to call the police on me for disorderly conduct. I'm sure you can review your security footage to confirm what I am telling you. She chased me out the door and them came out again and got in my face outside of the clinic. I am literally traumatized by this incident. It was outrageous. This woman shouldn't be working in a medical setting or with people at all. I am seriously thinking about contacting the police about this. No one should be treated the way your employee, Ashley, treated me today. read more

Took my 6yo here today and was very impressed. Clean, modern office. Check in process was easy. We were seen within 5 minutes. We got there on a great day, as the waiting room was empty. The nurse [Ally?] was very nice and efficient. Heide, the PA was super nice with my cranky sick son and was as good as any traditional doctor. I would definite go back. read more

I've been there 3 times in the last two months and I'm never going again. The first time, they diagnosed me with the wrong ailment, so treatment was wasn't helping. I went back the next day and they literally turned me away. They told me a different nurse practitioner was in so they couldn't help. I went the ER directly after and they gave me a different diagnoses, and their treatment began helping me within hours. I went again for a different problem about a month later and they gave me no new information. Everything they told me was something I had already knew on my own. It was a complete waste of time. You're much better off going to an actual hospital. Also, I had the male nurse practitioner (I think his name was Kuad or something), and he was not helpful at all. He did nothing but check my pulse, blood pressure, breathing and then tell me there's nothing he can do for me. read more

Wife was sick, sore throat and ear inflamtion. We arrived at 4 p.m at 4:30 we were directed to the examination room. 4:40 they took my wifes blood pressure 140 over 100. Nurse practioner arrived at 4:50 claimed my wife had a heart murmur and requested another blood pressure check and advised she would return in 5 minutes. 5:00 they checked her blood pressure and left the room without saying anything. 5:30 nurse practioner still hadn't come back. We were leaving. On our way out we spoke to the nurses (aide) who informed us that my wifes blood pressure was now 200 over 100 and claimed my wife could have a stroke at anytime. Immediately went to the E.R. 5:35 we were in the examination room, they checked her blood pressure 140 over 90 and checked her heart with no evidence of heart murmur. I would question their knowledge and qualifications at this facility. We would not recommend this particular facility. read more

I have been to this Urgicare several times despite living 30 minutes away. The care is excellent. The office is clean and the staff are very friendly. I never wait more than five minutes to be seen. I have brought two of my children in for sports physicals and am also happy with this service. You can't beat the $30 price for the sports physicals! Treated me poorly as if I was a hypochondriac. I came in with chest pains and was dizzy. they had me wait over 10 minutes with no other patients around. When they did see me they said I was having a panic attack. The doctor was smirking at me the whole time as if I was just taking up his free time. Within a minute or 2 the nurse came in and gave me a prescription and said that if I have any more symptoms like I did when I came in NOT TO COME BACK to them because they couldn't treat me and to go to the hospital and I needed to see a psychiatrist. Great diagnosis if all they did was ask for my symptoms and check my blood pressure. Doctor was with me only about 3 minutes and same with the nurse. read more

My son is a student at Carthage and I am an ER nurse for more than 20 years. I took him here because it's where the health center at the school recommends. I drove from Chicago because he was sick for 6 days, which I believe was probably the flu or mono or pneumonia. He was weak, had not eaten in 2 days and is having terrible nosebleeds and his heart rate was elevated (when I checked it). The NP told me I needed to trust his judgement and then proceeded to tell me he could prescribe Tamiflu.. that needs to be taken within 36 hours of onset of symptoms..NOT 6 DAYS. I'm supposed to trust you now? Said his lungs sound tight, wouldn't even do a CXR, said it wouldn't change anything. I said "Oh so if he has pneumonia you wouldn't give him antibiotics?" I was COMPLETELY BLOWN OFF with all of my concerns which I believe was because they were closing in 30 minutes. Don't get sick near closing time. Never again, complete waste of my and my son's time. read more
