I am a Filipino and white mix. my dad served 23 years in the Navy and later went on to become a cop and is now fully retired. he taught me everything i needed to know about firearms. I am a military brat. i've never had to deal with racism before until now. some not all of there employers give me a hard time every time i go up there. mind you for two years this has been my dedicated spot to buy ammo and pawn stuff every now and then. i get weird looks from a couple of them and do not help me with questions i have. I was standing at the counter when someone came in wanting to sell a gun, the owner picked up the gun and neglected to point in in a safe area to check/clear it. It was pointed sideways right at my midsection while he looked at it. I backed away from the counter and left. My biggest issues is that this is not a gun that he had inspected previously, he was literally just introduced to it and handled it like it was not a firearm. I will never go back there.
