Inside the park is a huge parking lot making it great for housing Hutto residents for big events like Fourth of July, but there's also a large pond (or two large ponds) which are usually well stocked with fish, an amphitheater that is used for park events though sadly Brushy Creek Amphitheater is not currently booking events, and plenty of other space for roaming. The gazebo area is very nice and gives you beautiful access to Brushy Creek itself. There's not much pathways for running though, so I don't recommend this place for working out I do think this place will become less populated once Fritz Park is completed as that park is going to be fantastic, but until then, this is a great spot for Hutto. This is a nice little neighborhood park that sits directly on Falcon Pointe Blvd. There is no…read moreparking lot so you'll have to actually park on the street. It is surrounded by plenty of green space, trees and includes a frisbee golf park. The park is actually divided into two sections along Falconpointe Boulevard. At one location there are six picnic tables, four grills and six benches. There is a well designed Playscape with swings. An added bonus is the hike and bike path that runs throughout the large green space and the neighborhood. I was surprised to find a small T-ball field next to the park. At the other location just 200 to 300 yards away you'll find an outdoor gym area and additional covered picnic tables along with a nice small lake area with a fountain. The nice thing about this park is that you do not have to be a member of the falcon pointe homeowners association to enjoy this park. The photographs included in this review add to the story.

It includes a smaller one playscape (toddlers) and one for the somewhat bigger kids (4-12). It has mulch on the ground, and is bordered with a cement lining to contain the mulch, is my guess. It's so thoughtful to find 1 special swing amongst 3 other plain swings, one that you can safely secure and have the child experience swinging also. Not one for the very littles, but one with a disability. I believe it says for 5-12 years old. Close to the smaller playscape is a xylophone, and we were pleased with a play by a random biker who stopped there to play. On Settlers Valley, I see people park their car along the road by the mailboxes. And there is a little path that leads to the playground, but then it ends there. You'll have to go around the grass, or cross the mulch in order to enter the trail that is in the back and goes around the neighborhood. I've biked that trail and it's a cute well-maintained trail. It's not our neighborhood, but I'm glad to find this close to home.

This is probably the only park where I have seen four musical instruments integrated into the playscape. I was surprised to find they have a very rich sound. The only thing lacking besides a pool, is the fact that there are no public bathrooms at either park or along the trail. Definitely a great spot to bring the kids or take a hike or bike ride.

This is nice if there happen to be lots of kids in the main play area or older kids playing rough, etc. You can always migrate to a different play area. However, I've never seen this place crowded. If you have younger kids that are too small for the play equipment, this park also offers ample green space to just run around. There is a short trail that circles the park and a little pond overlook where you can watch the turtles/fish. You can fish here. There are bathrooms and water fountains here. Ample trash cans and benches as well. There is even a "little free library" by the main playground. You can reserve the picnic pavilion for gatherings. Parking lot is pretty small but I've always been able to snag a spot.

Keeps it shady and the plastic cool for the kiddos. It has a wonderful small scenic path, but the small stream is overrun by weeds and trash. Makes a lot of the area smell bad and creates more bugs.

It'll be nice in the summer when there's too much sun. It also has a basketball and two sand volleyball court and even has football and baseball field but wasn't sure if it belonged to the park. It has a long walking/running trail but nowhere did I see the signs indicating the length of the trail and couldn't figure out where it started and ended. It has a big party pavilion and a small water pond behind it. I noticed some empty water bottles and styrofoam cups around the pond. I wish some people were more considerate and didn't leave their trash behind when clearly one can see a big dumpster in the parking lot. The park even has picnic tables and BBQ pit what more can one ask for.

The park looks pretty sad overall but has a ton of potential to be further developed into something great. There's a trail that it well paved- -I haven't made it far enough to say whether it's good but the part u did walk through had good shade and seemed nice on a hot day. I hope Pflugerville invests some tax dollars into planning and expanding the amenities for this park. It has a lot of potential and would really be such a great family friendly park for the community.
