I started therapy with TMS - at first it worked, but when switched to the other side of my head, it made things went wrong. I became wildly suicidal and my depression got much worse. I understand that nothing is perfect, but my objection here was that you see very little of the DR. I told the assistant what was going on, and got a "well, sometimes this happens." The Dr should have been alerted that instant. The Dr. needs to be more involved, I felt as though getting new patients was more important than the seeing existing patients. It was easy to enroll and I was seen immediately, the same happened a year later when I came back for treatment. They have several treatment options and also do pain management. There are groups daily and there's also the Neighborhood Clinic down the road. They do everything to make failure not be an option. These people don't give up on you!!! There's a Peer Navigator who I absolutely adore. (She only wears Chucks and Docs) Out of everyone here, she is the ONLY person who's asked me what name I like to go by. That meant the world!! thanks J!! This place is different and it works!! They also have a system where you get paid to do tasks and come to meet with your counselor. I've made $230 since September. This isn't the 12 Step program you're tired of. This actually works. I was afraid of getting clean due to the withdrawal symptoms... That's NOT an issue here!! My counselor AF is amazing. I've been on various antidepressants (Wellbutrin, Zoloft, Prozac, Cymbalta) over the years, and they helped, but only for a while before I had to switch again, and I don't remember any of them working as well or as quickly as Ketamine Therapy. It works differently from other depression treatments - all the others just evened my emotions out and numbed me, but it's easier to be productive and socialize instead of scrolling through the internet in bed all day. The bad: The Osmind App sent me a welcome email, but no way to get into the account, and the reset password button didn't work. It was easily resolved by calling and getting them to reset/send me a password. The good (from most important to just nice touches): Mitch is a certified anesthesiologist. I'm a patient with depression and anxiety, but chronic pain patients apparently take higher dosages, so that feels important. You're hooked up to an EKG, blood oxygen monitor, and blood pressure Cuff the whole time to monitor your vital signs. They've invested in great audio setups, comfortable electric reclining chairs, heated/weighted blankets, air purifiers in every room, etc. They make sure you're as comfortable as possible. The audio/music - I can't imagine how many hours Hayley has spent curating playlists to help guide you through the treatment. They're a great resource, and she gave me her username so I can listen to them at home after my treatments. The music plays in the room when you walk in, and on the headphones during your treatment session. Hayley and Mitch are just really kind and caring people. Call it good energy, friendly, relatable, whatever you want - they take the time to listen and genuinely care and want to help. You can reach someone anytime by hitting a button on the table next to you. They will check on you during your session, but you're mostly alone. Whenever I've needed to speak with Mitch or Hayley, I've just hit the button (it lights up to let you know they've been notified), and they're always there immediately. Before you begin your treatment, Mitch will place the IV (He's great, you'll barely feel it) and give you some anti-nausea meds through the IV. He will also give you some oral anti-nausea meds after your session if needed. Each patient gets their own eye mask. It's usually sitting in the treatment room waiting for me when I get there, but one session, they forgot it, and when they brought it into the room, it was in a Ziplock bag with my name on it, which I thought was really great for sanitary purposes. Scheduling has been easy. I arrange my appointments over text. The waiting area is nice and spa-like. You're not supposed to eat or drink anything for several hours before your treatment, so it's nice that they have water, tea, coffee, and candy available after sessions. Parking is easy, and their office is in an office park. I also don't really see other patients, so I don't know if they stagger patient sessions, but either way, it's very discreet. What it's like: It's different for everyone, but I enter a dreamlike state. I can still focus enough to lift the blindfold and check the time or something, but I have a better experience when I go where my mind takes me. *Uber or have someone else drive you. You do not want to be behind the wheel after your treatment. The feeling is similar to being drunk.

They truly care about their patients it means…read moregiving them a hug for reassurance or an extra blanket for comfort, Mitch has the absolute best bedside manner I am a very hard stick and he goes above and beyond to make sure he can get IV access in the least painful way possible, he customizes the doses of medication specifically for you if your feeling anxious he provides medication for that as well as for nausea and pain he really gives individualized care and never makes you feel rushed if you need to talk to him about anything either my life has been completely changed by ketamine I have gone off all anxiety medication which I was previously prescribed benzodiazepines 3 times a day my migraines have significantly improved as well as my lupus symptoms which was just a bonus because the main reason I went for treatment was for my bipolar,anxiety and ptsd which have all improved my day to day enjoyment of life and just doing simple tasks by over 80% I'm so thankful for quest ketamine and the amazing environment they provide their patients you do not feel like you stepped into a doctors office you feel like your going into your own cozy room with a warm blanket and treating your problems in the best way possible thank you quest ketamine for changing my life!!!!

My husband was a recent patient at Rainier Rehab for a hip fracture…read more We had problems from the beginning getting the staff to move him safely, feed him a diabetic diet, administer his medications and weigh him at the proper time. Most of the staff were very accommodating. However, because the doctor and nurse practitioner were unwilling to adjust his medication when he needed it, my husband has been hospitalized for a week. He developed huge water blisters and sores on his legs as a result of their negligence. At one time, he was left on the toilet for so long and the nurse did not respond to the call light, so he had to get up himself. There was constant urine on the bathroom floor because the equipment was old and inadequate. Many times there was noone in the halls or at the nurses station through the day. Wait times for a response to a call button many times exceeded an hour. It is only pure luck that he did not fall again undertheir poor care. The facility is old and outdated. The phone didn't work properly due to being old and dropped so many times. I had to bring in many things from home because they provided a bed and old nightstand period. We chose this place because we were told it was a 5 star facility with a doctor and nurse practitioner 7days a week. There was no doctor or nurse practitioner on site on the weekends. Be very careful if you place a loved one here. The staff is friendly and seem caring, but when you need real medical help, the doctor and nurse practitioner make the decisions. In my husband's case, their negligence caused him a week in the hospital.

Staff is attentive and very pleasant PT and OT were very good and made sure they gave my husband the attention needed to regain his strength Cons Parking is horrible. I spoke to the Administrator about when I saw at least six staff members parking in front rather than around the back so there was no room for visitors, He was almost rude and pretty much stated it wasn't his problem. Food was less than stellar. They were supposed to take orders so you didn't have to eat the meal of the day, sometimes that happened and sometimes not. Way over salted but when my husband mentioned that he was told they didn't salt anything. Might want change who the food is sourced from. Beds were so uncomfortable according to my husband. Activities were not something most would want to participate in, It was better than some but there is still room for improvement and if the higher staff members don't see a problem then nothing changes

The only reason I am giving one star is because a zero or negative rating is not an option…read more My 94-year-old mother was admitted to Avamere Transitional Care of Puget Sound on a Saturday evening with casts on both arms extending from her fingers to above her elbows. Upon arrival, she was served a meal consisting of a hoagie roll with two very thin slices of turkey, a piece of Kraft cheese cut in half, cold fries, and fruit that was unrecognizable. This raised immediate concerns about basic care and nutrition. The goal of short term rehabilitation is to help patients regain strength, improve their health, and return home to their normal activities. Unfortunately, our experience was the opposite. My mother became weaker with each passing day. Given her condition, it should have been immediately clear that she required assistance with basic tasks. However, it took until the following day for staff to recognize that she was unable to feed herself. When assistance was requested for toileting, a CNA stated in front of me that my mother could use her diaper and would be cleaned later. This appeared to be standard practice, as she was frequently left in bed until the afternoon and not regularly assisted to the restroom. As a result, her hygiene declined significantly. A physical therapist later expressed concern about her condition, noting that at 3:30 PM she was still in bed and had not been properly cared for. Communication throughout her stay was extremely poor. There were constant staff changes, and no clear continuity of care. Nursing and physical therapy appeared to operate in separate systems with little coordination. Despite multiple requests, we were never able to speak with a physician at any point during her stay. During this time, my mother developed pneumonia. We have since moved her to another facility. Within the first 30 minutes of her arrival at Orchard Park, she received more care and attention than she did during the entire two weeks at Avamere. I fear for patients who do not have an advocate, as they may be left with little to no care. Overall, the level of care, communication, and coordination fell well below expectations.

I show up for my appointment only to be told that my appointment "fell off" their schedule. And that the person "would be willing" to see me if I waited to see if the other person they booked would show up. This is completely unprofessional and just shows me that they don't value their clients time at all. I will be looking for a different clinic that hopefully values my time more than this place does. Super disappointing.
