Kent Glass was once a reputable company. Those days are over. They've done an amazing job on a project in our past, but now they've got the customer service of insanity.
We asked for an octagon shaped piece of glass cut, for our poker table. We paid for glass, which is about $1 ft more than plexiglass, up front. When my hubs went to pick it up, they'd cut plexiglass. So he told them to call him when the "glass we paid for was ready" and left, after overhearing a couple of employees sort of fussing at the customer service lady because she told them plexiglass.
No priority was put on fixing their error. The workers were angry they had to recut our table top. My husband overheard them being rude about it over the phone, and I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt because I've taken my business there for over 30 years.
My husband went to pick up the glass today, and came all the way home with it before we realized that it wasn't even finished! If you ran your hand on the side, it would slice you. No filing or sanding the edges....just a raw cut piece of glass.
My husband saw one like we needed in their building, but they said it was professionally done. Hubs told them he thought they were professionals. WRONG! They've stopped caring about their customers, at all.
They did return our money (or Kev would have us covered!) and we took our business elsewhere. It will be done in 2 days!
Kent Glass ignored the service we requested and paid for, the quality was pathetic and they should be ashamed for attempting to put that piece of glass off on anyone. They're expensive, unprofessional, and I hope that anyone reading this takes their business elsewhere. read more
