Dr. Elderkin and Dr. Pete were my OBs during my pregnancy - both were very informative and scheduled extra tests and appointments for me, making me feel secure and confident and helped eased my mind. The nurses that worked the floor during my stay were extremely helpful and checked in often, helping us take care of the babies and brought in extra supplies to help with feeds & changes. They offered a lot of guidance and were very encouraging, especially nurse Heather (I believe she is a travel nurse). Overall, I've had a very positive experience with Metro!

I was…read moreable to get an appointment within a few weeks for a routine mole check - so I was happy with the time frame. Day of the appointment went very smoothly. Office appears to be recently redone - bright and comfortable. Rooms are also nice and clean. The ipads to fill in forms and sign waivers was a nice touch instead of filling out multiple papers. Although I was brought back to the exam room a few minutes past my scheduled appointment time, I was extremely happy with the pace of the visit/ exam. The nurses and the Dr. were all very courteous and kind. I felt all information was relayed to me in a very easy to understand manner. All my questions and concerns were addressed. The exam was very thorough and detailed. I felt comfortable with the amount of time the Dr spend with me and i did not feel rushed or that anything was just "quickly scanned" over. All in all I was very impressed with my first visit and will be making all necessary dermatologist appoints with this office moving forward.

When I called and asked about all the extra charges, I was told the lab had to do extra tests. Hmm, was something wrong? Oh, they cant tell me. You mean to tell me I paid an extra $300+ to have additional pathology done and you refuse to tell me what those results are?!?! I would have to schedule an appointment so that they could make more money. Still have no idea if the skin they removed was cancerous 8 months later. I will never return to this place. What a joke!

The front desk women were all very kind and prompt. Dr Sill and his assistant were excellent per usual. Very friendly and professional. My quickest appointments are always with him. He also took the time to further talk care with me and I really appreciated that. Dr sill is my favorite dentist I've gotten to see from over the years.

My dad (87) is not the easiest patient, but Marcie had a work around for everything. She took him for his XRay. Less than 5 minutes later a male and female Dr came in and kindly, and simply, told (and showed on X-ray) my dad his arm was broken. They sent him across the hall to get a cast. It was a great experience from beginning to end. But what really made me know my dad was in good hands was Marcie. She cared enough to figure things out even when he kept saying he "was fine". I was able to make the appointment online easily for that same week, which was nice. They sent a ton of forms to fill out prior to the appointment, which took a bit of time, but I didn't have to re-do any of the paperwork when I was there. The building has plenty of parking but it was pretty busy as the lot is shared with some other offices. I was seen pretty close to my appointment time by PA Nate. He listened to my concerns and did a quick physical exam of my knee and sent me for an x-ray which was done in their own lab. I got my results fairly quickly and they recommended physical therapy. They did call me several times to follow up to schedule PT as well as make a return appointment, which I declined. Overall it was a good experience, I don't have anything to compare it to but I felt listened to and supported in my care at this practice.

Dr. Bowes was my original provider here and he is great, but a little quick and often out delivering babies. I recently switched to Jamie, a PA at this office, and she's amazing. She provides great care, listens to all of my concerns and questions, and is open, warm, and nonjudgmental. I highly recommend Jamie and hope she sticks around at Grand Rapids Women's Health for a long time so I can continue to have her as my provider. I've never had any issues with billing, appointments, or anything else. Plus they have a parking lot that they validate, and it's close to my house. Definitely will continue to seek care here as long as I can!
