That would have been fine. But what really annoyed me was the application process. The management is not familiar with more modern ways to verify employment and income (such as third party service) and insisted on unredacted pay stubs - which is much less secure. The interaction as we went back and forth was rude and reminded me of scammers trying to get one to divulge information urgently (because so many people are interested in the apartment!) at the cost of better judgement. In trying to get more information from me they cited their "policies" but being unable to articulate why their policy insists on having the information I didn't want to share (like my pre-tax deductions) This conversation was not with some mid-level employee but what seemed to be the owner. I should hope he could articulate the reasoning behind his own policy! To me, this company clearly orients themselves to customer service of property owners, not renters. Which fair enough, but it doesn't mean I have to like it. To the reader/renter: Don't let these people bully you!

Since my roommates and I are all out of town at the moment, and unable to tour the property in person prior to signing the lease agreement, Hanna assured me that her assistant Johnny would send me a video tour the following day. And sure enough, the next day - Johnny had a detailed video tour of the home in my inbox. Any question I had about the property, Johnny was able to answer. We so look forward to working with Hanna and her team during the duration of our lease agreement.
