No one picks up the phone or responds to email unless it's an already known emergent factor. There's two dog receptacles for three buildings on site. There's no outdoor trash/recycle areas for when the valet trash service doesn't come through (50/50). The only redeeming factors are that the apartment itself is nice, the bathrooms are large, and the kitchen is really nice (not all that spacious though). Also, the fitness center is much higher quality than most apartment complex gyms. Overall, I would nit recommend moving here because you can probably find something else in this area for the same price with higher quality service, and that goes a long way.

There's no follow-up, no empathy, and no accountability. Instead of addressing safety issues, management seems more focused on towing vehicles--even for things like expired tags, which feels excessive and invasive. The overall attitude from the management team is dismissive and unprofessional. Rather than taking responsibility or offering solutions, they make tenants feel like the problem. Someone left their trash on the floor overnight and now the hallway smells like there's a decomposed body somewhere. Just pure laziness and selfishness. I've never lived with mice before and I never want to do that again. Having a mouse in my home wasn't a pleasant experience. Parking is supposed to be secure, but someone's tires were stolen and they break into cars. For whatever reason the fire alarm randomly goes off after midnight and it's loud. No fire. It just goes off and we have to wait for PGFD to come and turn it off for us. Maintenance is top tier. And as is too often the story of newcomers to this country, America seems to have no problem trusting a man's hands while refusing to recognize his mind. This man is an architect. A professor. Due to the nature of these incidents and the hostile environment I believe has been created, I contacted the police because I feared for my personal safety and no longer feel comfortable or safe interacting with these staff members. I have been accused of having an attitude and being rude toward the concierge, despite the fact that I do not engage with her Adanis , speak to her, or seek out interactions with her. These accusations are unfounded and appear to be based on personal animosity rather than my actual conduct. Most concerning, I was subjected to a comment stating that I "look like a man." I consider this remark to be demeaning, insulting, discriminatory, and entirely inappropriate in a professional housing environment. Such language is unacceptable and has caused me humiliation and emotional distress. In addition, I was recorded without my knowledge or permission during this incident. I found this to be invasive and intimidating, and it further contributed to my feeling unsafe. I request that management clarify the circumstances surrounding any recording that occurred and whether it complied with applicable laws and property policies. The hostility directed toward me appears to have arisen from a conversation that did not involve the concierge at all, yet I have continued to experience what I perceive as retaliatory and unprofessional behavior. If they are not resolved, I would seriously consider breaking my lease. First and most concerning is lighting. When I step off the Metro in the evenings, it is extremely dark. More than half of the street lamps that line the path to my building do not work. As a short, small woman in stature, this makes me feel genuinely unsafe. Walking home in near darkness creates a situation where I feel like someone could jump out at any moment. This is unacceptable. Second, building security is severely lacking. While the building and garage technically have key fob access, the gates and garage doors remain open 24/7. Recently, my partner had to physically run a homeless person out of the stairwell. That should never happen in a building where residents are paying over $2,060 per month in rent. Lastly, the dog waste problem is out of control. Many residents own dogs, which is fine, but the amount of dog feces left around the property is overwhelming. It's everywhere -- and walking through piles of dog waste in the dark, when you can't even see where you're stepping because the lights don't work, is absolutely disgusting. These issues are not minor inconveniences -- they are quality-of-life and safety problems. Until lighting, security, and sanitation are properly addressed, I cannot recommend this property.
