I purchased an old Kennedy toolbox with a bent and cracked key that made it too fragile to use on a daily basis. I took the key to Kent's for a duplicate, hoping they would have a blank for what I was worried would be a speciality key. However, I had my duplicate key in 5 minutes for $3. Unfortunately, the first duplicate key didn't work (perhaps due to the poor condition of the original?), but a return on the following day (with the toolbox this time to immediately test the key in) yielded a perfect duplicate at no extra cost. That's the reason for only four stars. The two separate staff members were both friendly and helpful. Neither, however, wore a mask. read more

Went into their location on Beach Blvd to have 2 new locks installed in cash drawers, the company charged me for 3 locks instead of 2 on my debit card. I live out of state and have called the location 4 times and the person that overcharged me has said each time he will mail me the amount to me and I haven't received it after 4 months? Be careful when you pay!! read more

As usual, I called a locksmith when I was stuck in a real bad situation, as most times you call for help!, and these guys are my hero's. True everyday hero's! Both Chris and Gregg made time out of busy schedule in order to get me back on the road the next day! Even though I spoke with them at almost quiting time! NEVER, EVER go anywhere else. I use to use these guys when I ran multiple businesses and the were always great. I had a cabinet I'm refinishing that was locked with no key.i went to another place who kept it a week only to tell me it would be too time consuming and they would have to charge me a lot. I loaded it in my truck, went to Kent's and in 10 minutes it was unlocked with a new key made for $12!!! So much for using your neighborhood locksmith, just go here they are PRO'S. read more

Peering through my windows, I can see my house keys mocking me from my counter. As I was running out the door I twisted the bottom lock and slammed the door shut, I went to get in my car and quickly realized my keys were no where to be found. I sank. I was in a hurry so I used the spare key for my car and left for work. They do business the old fashioned way, with a smile and a handshake. We've used them for years. Last week I stopped in to bring back three keys that didn't work. Silly me, I didn't realize they did not have "kents" stamped on them. Someone in the office had keys made up somewhere else and they didn't work. The guy at Kents made me 3 new keys at no charge knowing it wasn't their mistake.
