The Women's Self-defense seminar was the best $20 I've ever spent. Kevin is a wonderful teacher, and combines hands-on self-defense techniques that any woman of most any age/stature/skill or strength level can do, with tutorials on how to minimize the potential for physical confrontations with simple situational awareness. If you've been afraid to try a self defense class because of fear of being triggered to past trauma in front of a room full of strangers by having a person attack/on top of you, this class is for you. Kevin teaches you how NOT to wind up on the ground to begin with, so the attacker won't have a chance to overcome you. I plan to attend this course again (though it can stand alone, if you only want to try it once) and have urged the women in my life whom I hold dear to join me. Highly recommended! read more

Kentucky Grapplers is a very well equipped training facility. The lead instructor, Kevin Taylor, holds instructorship in a number of arts. They offer training in Silat, JKD, Wing Chun and Kali. BJJ and Muay Thai are also trained in the facility by other instructors. I cannot recommend Kevin and his gym highly enough. I will also say there are some awesome students training here.
