My husband bought me a lovely charm bracelet for Christmas last year and occasionally we go to pick out another charm, usually around $12. The salespeople are friendly and patient, which makes the experience nice as well -- since you're probably spending a lot of time in here if you're going to spend a nice chunk of money. I have had my eyebrows waxed in this salon twice with less than thrilling results. They have an…read moreacutal side of the store named "The Brow Place" so I expected it to be a place where they paid special attention to the brow. Unfortunately both times I was offered a "clean up" and recieved the basic Walmart style wax job. I have very light colored eyebrows which are difficult to see and most places have to spend more time to get them right. I also have one eyebrow that is thicker than the other so other places have plucked a few here and there to even them out. I realize this makes me a more difficult wax and therefore I try not to go to Walmart and I spend a little extra at specialty stores. The first time I got a wax they did a clean up job but did nothing above and beyond. My eyebrows weren't bad but they weren't even and considering I drive over 25 miles to get there I wasn't thrilled. I decided to go back almost a year later and this time my clean up has left me with one eyebrow much shorter than the other. I litterally had to go home and pluck a large portion of my other eyebrow just to make it look similar to the other. All in all she waxed a large area in between my brows and took way to much off one side. I was never offered a mirror and was in and out in 5 minutes. I take partial blame for not complaining both times but the second time around there was no point once the hair was gone. I wont be going back and dont recommend the salon unless you have easy eyebrows that only need a "clean up."

I had my sister's eyebrows done some place else, and I was horrified that the individual did not take the time to really "plan" the layout well. Had I not insisted on checking her outline before she started, her eyebrows would have been horrible and I vowed I would not go for my own. So I had emailed Anne about her "process". And she has a real process! Its mathematical with visual inspection is layered on top. She was the gal for me! She opens a few appointments monthly so it is important to try to get an appointment quickly if you are wanting to do so. I finally scored a coveted appointment for this January. Upon arrival, Patience greeted me in her adorable studio that is a plant mamas dream. Her space is very clean and pandemic friendly so I didn't feel nervous at all with my time there. She is very thorough with her explanations and put me at ease about the procedure as I was very nervous. My pain tolerance is extremely low and she ensured me I'd do great! She numbed me up and we chatted about my desired look for my brows and we decided on doing a combination brow which means a combination between nano & shading. I won't lie, I definitely felt the nano part more than the shading. But I would 100% do it again. The discomfort is tolerable and so worth it for the end result. You forget any pain as soon as you see your brows finished. There was essentially no pain to the shading part. So the overall experience was honestly very good and completely tolerable.
