I told her gel nail polish and a curling iron and that I was also interested in faux hair clip ins. She said we don't carry those since Covid, you will have to go to Lexington. I'm sure she was doing her job. I was dressed professionally and I was polite however, I felt extremely uncomfortable with her following me around like I was going to steal something. Be prepared to spend some money. Buff City has soap bars, bath bombs, shower bars, lotions, bath truffles, and so much more delicious-smelling things for your bath, cleaning, and body. Everything is made in-store, almost everything can be customized, and they boast the use of clean ingredients (which are listed on the labels)! The items are not labeled with prices in the store, but there IS a giant 'menu' post with all the prices! You can't miss it. TIP: Sign up for the text messages. They're annoying sometimes, but you'll know more when there's a good sale. The day after I bought 8 bars of soap (as gifts), each full-price, there was a sale: $20 for 4 bars. Oy. I could've definitely saved money with that sale. (I've also bought the laundry detergent from another location with a sale!) FYI: I've had my laundry soap for over a month (or two or three -- I lose track of time) now and have only used up maybe an inch of the detergent in one container. You just need to use 1-2Tbs of laundry powder per load (I also purchased a wooden measured scoop for the detergent). AND! And! You can choose the detergent scent you want and they mix it for you! Guess what all my clothes smell like right now. Cinnamon Spice. Yep. That's right. I won't be a frequent customer at this store due to the price range and honestly, how much soap does one person need?
