By chance I found Buffalo Alarm on the internet and gave them a call. I really was expecting to be told that I would have to sign up for a year contract for monitoring, which is what happened awhile ago with a another alarm co. When a called Buffalo Alarm and cheerful young lady answered and immediately transferred me to Jim, service manager. He set up an appt. and advised the service fee. Very reasonable. The tech arrived at the appointed time. He replaced the battery quickly and checked all the other batteries. He didn't try to upsell and I'm grateful for that. If I ever want to upgrade our system, Buffalo Alarm is the only company I would use.

Stereo advantage sent me a damaged unit as being "reparied'…read more I had sent my unit(Surface Pro 3) to Square Trade for a ADH repair of a cracked screen. The unit came back with Stereo Advantage as the sender. They must of been contracted by Square Trade to repairmy unit. However when I got the unit back despite the box and the packing material in tack. the screen had a 1" long hole in he screen on the side opposite fo the original damage. I am left to conclude that damage was present before the surface 3 was packed. Not only that, they installed Windows 8.1 instead of Widnows 10 which is what was installed when I purchased it. I am glad that I live far away from Buffalo NY and will not have any reason to deal with this company again.

My system currently has a malfunction and every week a false alarm occurs. That is ok, it will be…read morerepaired. The issue is the way the alert department operates. One week they called three times, then the police. The next time they called me once, then called the police. Within minutes I called back and each time their phone tree put me on hold for several minutes. Never happened this way before being merged with the Pye-Barker. Waiting to find out the details in real time is problematic. Apparently after talking with them, their position is once they call the police, I become a low priority call and shuttled to hold. While I wonder what happened and if I have to rush home! Really not good for the person being called about an emergency. I am now looking at other companies.

I asked her if there was a serious concern she said she didn't know. She said a technician would call me in an hour still waiting. Switching to a new company. Don't bother service the service it's horrible. Been a customer for over 10 years and the decline is very visible

They want to blame the ignition even though there were 0 problems untill I used their duplicate key. On call Danny transfered me to auto and auto hung up on me. Danny refuses to answer his phone. My car will be stolen by monday. Buffalo Lock amd Key confirmed you did your job wrong amd fixed my ignition amd made correct duplicates. Yikes expect you to reimburse me on Monday or i will take you to court. ​
