Because of my unhappiness with the other companies I had tried I was quite hesitant to give Geoffrey a whirl. Now that they've been here all I can say is I wish I didn't hesitate so long! My cleaning was a few days ago and I'm still finding little things they did that I never would have expected - and those things gave their cleaning that extra wow factor. Perhaps most importantly they made communicating with them easy, reassured me I wouldn't be disappointed and were very transparent with the costs - which meant no unpleasant surprises. They weren't aware of what they were meant to do (a deep clean with pet hair and load of laundry) and we had a bit of a language barrier but explained okay. They proceeded to deliver a so-so 'maintenance' clean. They left the area rug untouched, did not mop around dining table or move things to clean, etc. When I contacted the company they refused to adjust the total to reflect a maintenance clean and instead asked for photos of everything that needed to be cleaned then made the girls stay to clean those specific spots. This was a terrible feeling for me and seemed like emotional manipulation to get me to accept service well below what was detailed on the company website. It felt like each request punished the ladies on premises when the company didn't provide them with clarity on the job in advance. Toronto Shine Cleaning was robotic, scripted, and inflexible and I am concerned these young women are severely underpaid v the company. The company claims to have set things right by cleaning the areas photographed. However, dealing with this took a significant amount of my time and was highly uncomfortable. I will not be booking again and would not recommend this to anyone.

We put down a deposit for four cleanings that have yet to be acknowledged. We have been reaching out to Julia for two months and no response. This is a very disappointing experience when we were nothing but understanding and supportive of her situation and trying to support a new local business. This is not a good way to do business and while I wish her well, this business ethic is not going to take her far. There were only 3 employees at my location which I was 1. Every time she came to my location she wouldn't check the other employees work, only mine. And literally be mad because my work was ALWAYS spotless. These photos are of another employees area with bugs. Once she started harassing me I simply ignored her but after 1 particular incident, contacted corporate to let them know. Also at the end of my shift, I would go check this area because this restroom is cleaned by a supervisor. She targeted me meanwhile I took over 20 various pictures throughout the whole month and always at the end of my shift. And in each photo you can clearly see the bugs and dirt in all of them. This is proof that she only checked my work meanwhile the other employee's work hasnt been done. Now lie about these photos. Cheryl King is deceitful, manipulative and a blatant liar. I'm not sure what she told the individuals at corporate but they fired me a few weeks back without cause. I was going to sue the company but I've already obtained a great job with a company and Irestify are the real losers. God doesn't like deceitful weights or lying tongues.
