I was…read morepreviously familiar with CranioSacral therapy (a gentle non-invasive bodywork that aims to balance the nervous system are free connective tissue restrictions in the body) and had seen other therapist in the past. But - WOW! Corina is really gifted with this type of work. After our first session, some physical/emotional blockages I had been carrying in my hips for years began to open up. After our first session, I would lay down in bed at night and my hips would involuntarily twitch as they tried to self-correct. I saw her a series of times after that, and I felt like huge progress was made on the issues with my low back and hips. I enjoy CranioSacral because rather than forcing the body to correct, it works with the body's own energy to start the process of self-correction. Corina is very intuitive with her work and a very gifted healer. I moved 1.5 hours away, and have not been to see her in months (though I am considering making the drive just for the session!). Still though, my hips continue to shift and move and self-correct. I also really appreciate how nice the front desk staff is. I had to cancel two appointments last minute because of morning sickness and they were very understanding. I cannot say enough good things about Corina. Pain is horrible we all know that, and they are there to help you. I have ongoing medical problems so when I needed to see a Physical Therapist I thought of them. I have been seeing Elizabeth in their Graeagle office. She is wonderful and actually helps the whole process to be so fun that even in the future if I need more therapy I am definitely going to her. I know that during all of the Covid 19 crisis people have very short tempers and they are scared. However, these people are great because they care too. They are very professional and that is not always easy when information and feelings are ruling people sometimes. Kudos to the people of Plumas Physical Therapy.

In other PT clinics, I was assigned a single specialist. At Radius, I had an entire exceptional crew. They were kind, courteous, knowledgeable, personable yet professional, and incredibly competent. The business model is excellent: you're first assigned a chiropractic doctor who oversees your care and does a body-mind-spirit check-in at every visit. In my case, that was Dr. Austin Van Poole--a highly trained, knowledgeable, and deeply intuitive Doctor of Chiropractic with truly magic hands and a gentle, inquisitive nature. After a hands-on assessment in his office, he would take me out to the floor and hand me off to Eric and Nick, a couple of fun-loving health enthusiasts you can't help but like (and even admire). The three of them would have a quick discussion about my progress, and Dr. Van Poole would direct them on whether to focus on stretching, strengthening, or soothing, depending on where I was in my recovery.
