Keri Meyers is the BEST photographer ever! She did our newborn photos of Ciaran (our son) when he was just 4 days old. She has such a wonderful, calming presence with babies, that he just felt right at home and slept through the photo shoot. He was so calm and comfortable. For the parents, she has a relaxing area with couches, a TV, water and snacks, so that you can rest while she takes photos of baby. (She also does other types of photography, like families, etc....) Best of all, we now have very gorgeous, professional photos of our dear baby when he was brand-new. Everyone that sees the photos wants to know "Where did you get those photos taken?! Keri photographed our newborn as part of a workshop she gives to teach other photographers how to photograph infants. We had the vantage point of watching her teach and also shoot. From what we could tell, her teaching was great. We saw her interact with the two other photographers talking about how she selects the shots. We were impressed that people fly in from out of town to work with her and to learn her technique. Her handling of our 7 day old child was amazing. Her studio is kept above 80 degrees and had white noise turned on which definitely helps kept our child asleep. She gracefully handled several outfit and background changes, and used great techniques for keeping our child mostly asleep during the two hour session. At one point, she knew the baby wasn't going to calm down without eating, so she brought the baby over to nurse. And of course, the end result, the photographs, were amazing. We're not sure how she was able to set up each shot (even though we watched her do it), but each photograph we've seen so far looks like something you would see in a book, not something that features your child. Keri is amazing. If you have the budget to afford high quality newborn photos, she's the person to hire. read more

When I saw my twin's pictures for the first time I could not believe how cute they were. I've always been a big fan of Anne Geddess and I feel Keri's pictures are the same quality, really. I received amazing service from her too. She is super nice and so nice to talk to and work with. She emailed me back right away always and was patient with me. I had a hard pregnancy, delivery, and recovery and she was very understanding of it and made it easy to schedule for us. I feel like for the quality-the pictures were very much worth the price. The number of reviews isn't that high yet likely because the business recently moved into the Phoenix area but if people in the area are doing their homework, that should change quickly. We had a superb experience with Keri photographing our 5-day-old daughter and would not consider using anyone else for professional quality photos in the future. She lived up to her credentials and was professional, responsive and reasonable throughout the experience leading up to and during the shoot. Pricing is very reasonable too. The studio is a very comfortable, neatly-maintained space and Keri is an absolute pro in handling babies with all of the tricks and tools to keep them comfortable and calm through their shoot. She also has some neat props and backdrops for different looks in the pictures. As any new parent can attest to, the process of having a baby includes a lot of decisions about products and services for your child. Obtaining some top-flight newborn photos was a high priority for us and we are thrilled that Keri helped us achieve that goal at the highest level of quality. read more

We found Keri while researching newborn photographers for what was going to be our last (and surprise child). We wanted to make sure the experience was a great one. After tons of research and deciding to go with Keri for our newborn pictures, we were NOT disappointed. We called her the baby whisperer! The Photo prep process was well calculated and prepared, she gave us tons of info to best prepare for our shoot. On the day of, baby slept like a log and Keri got some AMAZING photos of her!! We were in love with the images captured of a time frame we never wanted to forget! Now fast forward exactly 1 year, and we just wrapped up our daughters 1 year cake smash session with Keri, and with just the 1 preview she sent us, again, I am in LOVE!! Keri used the same color scheme as we requested from the newborn shoot, my daughter who is now shy around strangers, took to Keri beautifully, she was open and happy, and just seemed so eager to smile at and interact with Keri.
