These guys tinted my car. Installation was ok but started to blister over time. They state they have a lifetime warranty so went to get repaired but they must have gone out of business. No longer answer their phones. Go to there office and it's all locked up. So had to take the tint off myself and will need to get it installed by someone else. Tint should have lasted way longer. read more

Soooo i picked up my new car on the 31st and was desperate to get my windows tinted as we all know bako is like living in an oven Lol...I did research, read reviews etc...and decided on this place. I requested a quote via Yelp and Mike got back to me very fast. Gave me details and a quote. he said i could come that Saturday but i didn't want to leave my new baby hahaha so he asked if i could come in on Monday and i said yes i'll just wait for it to be done...I'm a patient person....He recommended ceramic and i went with it. He is super nice actually they are all nice. He explained the after care etc, also gave me my warranty paperwork...which i've never received with my other cars i have had tinted in the past at other establishments so that's a Plus!! I paid exactly what he quoted me and my car was done within the time he told me it would be. Gorgeous job, zero bubbles and wow vision is soooo clear!! My A6 tint i had done a few years ago somewhere else was no where near this clear it seemed to have some distortion. I've learned my lesson Lol...I will be back to do my windshield also :) read more

Was supposed to write this about a year ago but it's taken me a while. Got my windows tinted 2021 GMC Sierra and from the outside they look great. I rolled the windows down from the back and noticed a big scratch on the tint with what appeared to be a razor blade. I called a few days later and received no answer. Every time I go the business it is either closed or no one comes to the front. I left about 3-4 voicemails and they never got back to me. BAD BUSINESS. Do not trust this company. Go straight to DAMON at BAKERSFIELD TINT (661-834-7871). Mike, at Kern County Window Tinting and Custom Wrap, provided very poor quality wrap and tint work, and damaged the paint, on my new car. I was not able to inspect in-person, bc my family was ill with COVID, but he was happy to take my CC over the phone and charge for the work. When I finally saw the poor workmanship and damages to my car, I called Mike many times but he would not answer. I eventually got a text from him saying he would issue a refund but he never did. I disputed with my CC company but, five months later, they found in Mike's favor bc he said he was "willing to work with me." This is essentially Mike gaming the system, knowing what to say so he won't be financially liable for his work. Clearly, there's nothing he can do to help a car that he has already permanently damaged. Avoid this merchant. Have your car worked on by someone who is knowledgeable and trustworthy. read more

Out of the 16 local tint shops I reached out to for quotes, Mike was the most professional and had the best customer service. He is very knowledgeable. We were told by a previous company that our door handle was a problem and if it couldn't be taken off he couldn't do our door. However, Mike was able to remove the handle with ease within less than a minute based on his knowledge and prior experience. Mike was in and out within about 20 minutes and did an outstanding job. We are blown away with the difference this tint makes in our office building. We added a tint with a metallic sheen to it to add privacy while also reflecting heat and cooling the inner office. Mike was very responsive to our initial call and was able to schedule the tinting of our glass office door just a few days later. There were some issues with removing the door handle but Mike was able to find a solution so we could get the door tinted that day. Mike took the time to put samples of the different tints on the door so we could see which one we liked the best. We selected the metallic tint that is very reflective from the outside. Mike quickly installed the tint and cleaned up thoroughly after the job. Mike was professional throughout and just an all-around nice guy! Plus, the price was great. We are looking at getting a car wrapped in the future and will be giving Mike a call. Overall a very positive experience! read more

i meant to do this review 2yrs ago but i lost my contact info. mike did my 2019 Tesla model 3 full tint and PPF wrap, 2011 Nissan Leaf and 2013 Lexus rx350 front windshield tint. it's been more than 2yrs and everything held up perfectly. excellent customer service, products, and appointment time line. i definitely return and refer mike to my family and friends. The material options and installation prices are well-worth considering.
