Techs responded quickly, arrived on site on time and provided a professional quote quickly.

First of I made a deposit and waited almost 4 weeks to get my window installed. Then when they installed my window it had a crack in it. I would have expected them to send me an email letting me know the situation and the solution but they didn't . I had to follow up with them to make sure they were actually going to get it fixed. They took another week to finally fix it. I also caught one of there employees making a disturbing comment on my ring camera thinking it didn't work . I called them and advised them about the comment they had made and how I had it on video and they didn't seem to care . There employees were also seen the next morning really early in the morning sitting in there van in the neighborhood. Honestly really unprofessional and sketchy people.. I wouldn't trust them in my house without supervision at all times. They cared more about getting the remaining balance then their customer satisfaction or dealing with there employee's, even threaten to send me to collections and get a mechanical lien for 299 dollars All the attempts made by you guys where to collect the remaining balance . None of those attempts where to obtain the video or figure out why I was unsatisfied . read more

Got a quote from KC for mirrors and glass for bathroom remodels. Let me start by saying if I was to base my review on only the materials and workmanship I would give them five stars. KC is great and the quote was fair, but the service from the office was horrible. After agreeing to the estimate and getting the first items ordered that is when the trouble started. I realize COVID has caused issues with getting materials, but the trouble was not with getting the products, but with the office follow ups. After ordering the first batch of materials I had to initiate all the calls to see what happened to my order. I would call and get promises to call me back within the hour. I wouldn't get a call back at all that day. I would call them the next day and get scheduled for appointments. Appointment day came and no call, no show. When it came time to pay I got a call within the hour. Their delays put my remodels back over a month. The company's customer service is lacking. I can't recommend Kern Glass at all. read more

Attempted to get a quote from this company. When I called and scheduled my quote I specifically stated that I would take time off from work for the time they were scheduling me for a quote. Scheduled date and time came with no one showing. I made contact with them to ask if they were still showing as I had never received a phone call stating they would have to cancel or that they were running late. I spoke to the person scheduling and was told that the individual that gives estimates was out of town due being tied up with other matters. She was very apologetic and explained there was a lack of communication. I'll take my business elsewhere as this is my first impression, I'd hate to see how things would be if something truly went wrong. read more

It starts with KC.... came out gave me a quote. Very friendly and professional!!! A few weeks later for the install and his crew Eric, Tanner, Christian and Frankie were really amazing. They worked as a team taking a huge 5 foot by 96 inches piece of glass upstairs with very little wiggle room. Extremely friendly and professional crew!!! Called to have a shower door cracked glass replaced. I removed the door and took it to them. It took weeks, and when I got it home, I found that when the frame was re-assembled, The Inside door latch and the drip plate were now on the outside. Returned it to them and it was re-assembled correctly, but when I got it home again, The frame was about 1/2" out of square. I should have learned to use someone else, but being a dummy, I Delivered a glass panel from the same shower enclosure to have glass replaced, what could possibly go wrong?....After installing the panel, over time I noticed rusty water leaking from the frame area. Investigating further, I discovered the rubber seal between glass and frame had rolled over and left a gap for water entry, I had to use clear silicone to seal it!...It appears as if they have trainees or other unskilled labor working on these small projects. I wonder, who is in charge? Absolutely Amazing!!! read more

I went to their office the next day and Gina was absolutely wonderful to work with. She explained the process to me and even setup a time for someone to come over and measure the table to be sure. I have a rental property in Bakersfield. I had a requirement for changing of Glass door in one bathroom and fixing of another glass door in another bathroom. I connected to Kern Glass through Yelp quotation system. They offered to visit the house without charges before giving me a quote. They visited the house and gave me a quote far less then what my regular contractor was giving. The difference was so huge that i can't even mention it. I was sold immediately. I called them and asked them to work on it. They told me that it is going to take around 10 days before they can get the door ready. I paid around 50% of the quote as advance. They worked on the door and installed it and fixed the other door. My tenant is happy with the work performed and i am happy that the work was done to satisfaction and at a very reasonable price.
