Took me awhile to find a touch free carwash in the Manchester area. I originally went to the one on Beech Street but no touch free carwashes were there. The one on 2nd street one did have a touch free car wash which is the one I used. not the best working one but it was the only one I could find and it did the job. They also had some self-service high-pressure sprayers that you can back into a bay and spray down your car, I believe that is cash only. While I was waiting in line to use the touch free wash I was watching the cars leave the self service bays and it appears all the rears of the cars were dry, either these people aren't spraying the back of their cars or the sprayer doesn't reach that far, im thinking the latter read more

I went to Kerner's for a periodic oil change on one of my vehicles because my mechanic of many years retired, and I had to establish a new facility. Kerner's immediately took my car in, performed multiple additional checks (antifreeze, wipers, etc) that I was not charged for, and even vacuumed out the interior of the vehicle. Oil change was completed quicker than expected, cost for the service comparable to the competition, all around great first experience. Very professional. Employees polite and knowledgeable. Kerners advertises & sells packages (GIFT CARDS) of a certain number of washers for fixed prices depending on what's included in the wash. However, when you try to buy one of the washers (in what ever package you purchased) you find out it's not what you purchased, you have to pay more money before you get the wash you initially purchased. They did a spectacular job despite blond chihuahua hair being practically woven into all of the fabric and rugs, smudges on all the windows from the dogs, and a stain on the back seat from one of the dogs vomiting in my car. Tried to use the automated car wash a couple weeks ago. There was one other car in queue in front of me. The attendant was chatting/laughing it up with them. The attendant looked back me once or twice and continued. Only waited a few minutes and backed out and left. Went in for a quick oil change. Pulled up to the garage bay with 0 cars in front of me. I go inside and wait for over 50 min for a simple oil change. The tech comes out after about 20 min to show you my oil cap and claims I have moisture in my engine and should get an additional oil treatment and full synthetic. The manufacturer calls for conventional oil so I refuse and about another 25 min later he comes out again and wants to go over my vehicle with me. Now I need an air filter and coolant. At this point I'm done, I cut him short tell him to put it back together as I want to leave. What would take others 15 min has no taken about an hour and I have been hit up for additional services twice. I'll head else where from now on. This place has gone down hill. read more

Sorry to say this place has gone quite a but downhill. Came in for power steering fluid change. I was the only customer for an hour. Instead if working on my vehicle, all the workers decided to get involved in helping apparent buddy remove his truck tire ( and air brush it, sending dust blowing off truck into garage) from his sewage treatment truck. Since they did not have the proper tools and this is not what this business is for, all the employees were using their hands to manipulate the heavy rear truck tire. Also, this maneuver totally blocked the entrance to the bays. After waiting, I asked if anyone was working on my vehicle. Oh yeah, yours is done, I was told. They tried to play it off as if they changed it. But when asked to provide the old oil filter, they handed back the BRAND NEW, customer provided filter. I went into learns first an oil change $69 and it's cost $30 at the dealership but I didn't have to make an appointment. The guy broke the piece which screws under the car that was $59 total oil change $129 with a free $9 car wash. I won't be going back any time soon! read more

Staff refused to let me use the auto wash because my car was dirty. They said they didn't want to clean it cause they didn't want to get sick. They said this to me while not practicing social distancing or wearing a mask. After I was in line they told me they wouldn't wash my car then didn't even help me exit the car wash. They then laughed about the fact that I would want my car cleaned. I do not recommend this establishment as the staff is obviously lazy and only want to wash already clean cars. I went to the Kerner's Car Wash on Second St in Manchester. I attempted to use my debit car to buy an $11.00 car wash. Put it in several times. Didn't work. So I used my credit card. It worked. Later when balancing my checkbook and credit card I realized they charged me twice. I called and was told by a woman that the owner was away and she didn't have the authority to refund my credit card or debit. But she could send me a check for one of the charges. I've waited since 2/25 and still nothing. It's 3/17. So I called again. Got hung up on first time and left on hold the second time. Do yourself a favor. DON'T GO THERE! read more

I brought my fiancees car in to get detailed over the weekend and the shop did a great job with the detail I was just a little unhappy about the way we were charged. Kerner's website specifies $130 for a full detail for a regular car, which is what I expected. They also have a little caveat on there that excessive dirt, pet hair, larger vehicles etc... are an additional charge - I did not expect I would be charged extra. When I went to pick up the vehicle he informed me as I was about to pay that not only was the detail itself $140 (not $130) but we were charged an additional $20 for the amount of dog hair in the vehicle. I would have thought normal business practice would have been to look over the vehicle before doing the work and calling with additional charges. I was considering bringing my vehicle there when I saw the work they did - but will be looking elsewhere as I am too put off by the way they tacked on the extra $20 after the job was complete. Then to top it off, while I was still happy with the work they did and the billing issue hadn't quite gotten to me yet, I went to use the self service bay and the credit/debit card reader on both did not work. read more

Took my car to get an oil change at the Merrimack New Hampshire location and they broke the oil plug and refused to fix it. They said how do they know that another oil change place didn't break it. Had to take my car to Toyota of Nashua to pay for a new $30 part. I also read another review that they completely messed up guys paint job on his car in the car wash. They wouldn't give him any money because they said that they are not liable. I understand the non-liability practice but how can a business say that they are not liable for their own dirty brushes? I now know where NOT to go for a carwash, especially a detail. I wish I never came here. At first, everyone seems nice. Maybe most of the staff is actually pretty genuine, but some of them take things from your car, and the owner himself doesn't know how to treat a customer. I paid $40.00 for an Express Wax and $40.00 for an "Interior Express". So it came to a total of $80 that it cost me for this place to try and rob me. After about an hour and a half or so of waiting (which was fine, I wasn't in a rush) I get out and see my car and it actually looked pretty good. The first thing I noticed is the front bumper looked like it had some dirt or mud splash on it. I was more interested in the inside of the car so I didn't look at it closely enough to know if it was old and they just didn't get it off or new and they didn't return it to me 100% clean. Either way, I didn't say anything to them about it, I didn't mind at first. I got into my car, and they actually did a great job. But before long the first thing I noticed was my sunglasses were now on the passenger seat instead of in the center console. (Where, the day before when I stopped in to make the appointment for today I spoke to who I was told was a manager and I explicitly told him I didn't want anyone going in the center console, glovebox or trunk.) so I opened my center console to find my iPhone wire missing from its USB port. An employee happened to walk passed me and asked how I like the car, I told him it was good but that my iPhone charger was missing and asked if he could look for it for me. He did go check for it and on his way back in even said "a white one?". He brought it back out and asked if that was it to which it was, and I thanked him for it and got back in my car. Then I just opened my center console again to reorganize in there again and noticed that my lighter was missing too! I remembered which lighter was missing because of the logo it had on it. Now I know, it's just a lighter. I would have easily let the lighter slide if it wasn't for the phone charger as well. So I get back out of my car and I found the guy again and told him my lighter was missing now as well. He ran back to 'check' in the wash bay. As I followed him over there I came across the guy I was speaking to earlier. He was actually a good guy and tried to talk to me about it. The guy ran back and gave me the lighter. To which I grabbed it and didn't give any further hard time and just left. It wasn't until being almost home that I noticed my carpet floor mats were on top of my rubber weather floor mats so I pulled over in a gas station to fix them. As I went to go fix my passenger seat mats I now noticed a chip on my passenger side door. As soon as I was done fixing my mats I took a picture of the chip and got back in my car and drove back to Kerner's. On my way back I received a call back from the 'Owner' who says he can't find anything on the cameras of them 'stealing' from my car.... I'm not even going to get into that. At this point, I wanted to address the fresh chip on my car more so than anything else. Once I got there in person, I shook hands with the owner and tried to make nice and we left the front office space to go check the cameras at the wash Bay Area. At that point I reminded him about the chip on my car and asked him to come see it. I told him how I'm leading my vehicle and would like to have returned it in pristine condition- to which he sarcastically responded "OOHH A CHIPPED LEASE". Trying to be nice, I let this go without saying anything about it, and he goes on to try and tell me that I got that chip from a rock or something while driving-- no I didn't. I told him I just wanted to go watch the video. On the way over to the monitor he tried to tell me of how minimal the cost of the missing items were so it shouldn't be taken so highly. And to be quite honest with you it's got nothing to do with the cost of the items! I had to ask for them back, that is unacceptable! But mostly I wanted to watch the video over the dent. After a few minutes into watching the video I realized I was about to go watch a 1 and a half hour video when I was really no longer even interested in the missing items, as I'd gotten them back. I told the manager I wasn't trying to be a hard time and that I was willing to compromise with him over both the missing items AND the chip on the door. I reminded him that this was my first time being at this car wash and that he can make right by a first time customer with a poor experience by at least so much as offering me some type of coupon or something for next time if he wanted to retain me as a customer and this could be over with. He then told me that he doesn't deal with customers! And went on to say that this very reason is why he hires people such as managers to work for him so that he doesn't have to deal with this kind of thing. Stay away! Brought my car in for an oil change and left with my car making a terrible noise. I returned and they refused to take responsibility for the problem. They said they believed my AC compressor was about to go and it was purely a coincidence it happened when I got my oil changed. They would not listen to a word I said when I adamantly told them the noise was a result of their negligence. My words were disregarded and brushed off and I was turned away. As it turned out, they hadn't replaced the bolts in the skid plate after changing the oil and it was rubbing on the compressor. I had to return to Kerner's a third time in order to get them to finally replace the bolts. I didn't receive one word of apology. If they can't manage to complete the process when changing oil, that's a serious problem. read more

And he responded that the manager was on vacation in Florida and he would talk to him about my case upon his return. I then said; "Wait so you mean to tell me you don't have the authority to make right by me here?" to which he responded "No, I'm the owner, I can do whatever I want! But I hired someone to deal with this and-" I said "Sir, don't you think being a good owner that you should step up when your manager is on vacation and take over the role of handling customers with bad experiences such as myself?" And he said "No, that's why I hired someone, so I don't have to deal with this." I then was just so disgusted by the whole conversation that I decided to leave. Before moving I said to him "based on your attitude I get the vibe that you never want to see me again, which is fine, if you want to lose a customer today you will never see me in here again if you just don't at least TRY to do right by me today in some way" and he interrupted me to say "you're right I never want to see you again and you should get out." I was appalled by this as I've never been spoken to like that by someone that based on the quality and looks of their facility seems like they should be practically begging for customers, and here he is pretending him and his crew aren't at fault for anything and is completely letting go of one. I then informed him that he was extremely unprofessional, and unfit to run a business-- and I left. I really didn't want to write this review, and wouldn't have if the owner weren't such a rude, unprofessional, disgusting individual. If you know what's good for you, you won't EVER go to Kerner's Car wash in Manchester, New Hampshire. And if you still think you should go there, just remember what $80 got me (2 stolen items and a chip in my door) and keep in mind that you'd be putting your money in the pockets of a cold hearted man who doesn't appreciate you as a customer. read more

After having the clear coat substantially damaged on my truck, I provided photos along with a polite e-mail to Kerner's asking them to repair the damage to my vehicle. A manager got in touch with me and explained that it was likely due to their foam brushes, admitting the reasoning was there equipment. However, Kerner's explained that their equipment, facility, and general maintenance of said equipment was not their responsibility and they could not be held liable. I would not trust or go to a car wash that takes no responsibility for their equipment, facility, or maintenance there of. I had used their car washes regularly while living in the area and had been nothing but a good regular customer.
