Even though I told her I don't plan on getting pregnant now (and don't even have a partner), she told me that the medication would affect my chances of getting pregnant in the future, and I should therefore see her instead. After consulting my medical doctor and the drug manufacturer, they said this isn't the case. The medication only affects people who ARE pregnant or IN THE PROCESS of trying to become pregnant. Taking the drug now doesn't affect people who want to become pregnant in the future. When I contacted Lana's office to clarify, they said that what Lana told me initially was her interpretation of the facts. Even the office staff is drinking the dishonest kool-aid that she's selling. You meet with the doctor every week for an adjustment, the nutritionist once a week, workout with a trainer twice a week, and see their massage therapist once a month. After insurance it was a manageable price. I didn't commit myself to eating healthy so I didn't loose a lot of weight (just 14) but I consider my progress a huge success.
