FUR-Tastic and highly recommended! I thought nothing could be warmer than my Arctic grade mountaineering down jacket and fur coat was too old fashion for me. Well, now I'm a fur convert and Kersner Furs is my fur cathedral in Bensonhurst! Went first to Kersner Furs to fix grandma's old fur coat. All happened really fast - I saw one interesting fur coat on my way out. In less than 10 min, I walked out the store with my first and new fur coat. I feel comfortably warm much faster in fur coat. Don't dismiss fur coat until you give it a try! The fur coat is also very stylish, unlike the michelin man puffy look of down jacket. Kersner's quality is very high, no cutting corners and very stylish. Their fur coats are priced very reasonably. In fact, a fraction of the price of high end European designers "cloth fabric" coats! I have been dealing with Kersner Furs for many years and never had a problem. It is a family business and they have been there for many many year the husband and wife are wonderful people, they are pleasant and courteous and always aim to please. I have bought serval minks coats and ordered 2 customs hand bags done by them and they came out beautiful. I have bought, stored, cleaned and glazed allt my minks there. They had refurbished a long mink that got burned with a heater on the side and I got it back like it was new. I wish I had known Scott and Randy before I purchased my furs. My experience with them is related to remodeling and alterations. I first came in with a coat which needed the sleeves to be lengthened and they did it for me the same day. I then returned with 2 old coats, asking for suggestions to refresh them. Well, within a few days my 20 year old mink was updated and looks more modern and flattering on me. Scott lavished care and attention on my coats as if I had bought them from him.
