I was 52 at the time and never needed one while my dad practicing until I was 45, this is NOT normally needed at all. Anyways I explained to them I'd do a regular cleaning and had to argue with them to get that. I go in and the hygienist says I was scheduled for a deep cleaning. When I broke my crown, even though I had no pain, Carrie was able to schedule me the next morning. Dr Winderbaum was very conscientious as well as gentle. He had a very light touch. He removed my broken crown and prepared the tooth for a new crown. Rather than taking a goopy runny impression, he used the lasted technology to create a digital scan of my tooth which was immediately sent to the lab for fabrication. A temporary crown was made and fit very comfortably. While not many people, if any, enjoy having their teeth worked on, this was a pleasant experience. Your insurance info is saved in the app, so you pick a time, book and you're done. I've seamlessly used Zocdoc quite a few times and really like the app alot. Today was the first issue. On the day of the appointment here, I showed up promptly, showed the receptionist my appointment in the app, but was told, no, there is no appointment. Apparently when you book with this provider on Zocdoc they don't actually make or honor the Zocdoc appointment. They just have you come in and try to shoehorn you into a different day and time. THAT'S NOT HOW ZOCDOC WORKS! The Zocdoc appointment is SUPPOSED TO BE the appointment. That's the whole point of Zocdoc. To make it easy for people to schedule. It's not supposed to be a lead generator where you don't honor appointments and then figure it all out later. That's ridiculous. I took time out of my busy schedule for nothing. Outrageous. Really disappointed with them for wasting my time and for not following Zocdoc procedures.

It all started with my husband, who referred me to them after he had raving reviews about his experience. I hadn't been to the dentist in over a year, and that was on purpose.
