Dr. George is the best! He explains things thoroughly to me, is gentle, and meticulous. Over the many years I've had root canals there, and he recently even fixed a chipped tooth to look like new and natural! I get my routine cleanings there, doesn't matter which hygenist, all of them are really great, Adriana, Shana etc.. At 63, I've had a lifetime of dentists. I was worried when I moved to Boca Raton that I wouldn't find a good dentist. I met someone in a passing conversation who told me about Dr Soropoulis. Wow, did I luck out finding him. I've been his patient for over a decade now. He's pointed out things that no other dentist has. He's very keen and caring. He encouraged me to have a cleaning every three months. At first I thought he was just drumming up business but in reality my issues have cleared up and it's amazing. An oral surgeon across town messed up a tooth and ended up making a hole into my sinus. What a mess. I went to Dr S and he referred me to someone for a bone graft and Dr S remained in contact with me and the Dr he referred me to. Dr S. went way above and beyond and saw me through the repairs. He then did an implant himself and it's absolutely perfect. I'm super happy with him. I think he's a brilliant dentist and he cares. Lately I'm comfortable going to see Dr S and his hygienists because of how seriously he handles Covid. I'm around an unvaccinated infant every day and I appreciate the measures they take to protect me and subsequently protect my family. Never come back again! I came here last month to take CT and remove one tooth. I paid $475.Today came back to check my teeth bridge, because one of the bridge tooth bothers me. Probably the rudest Dr. I have ever met. Everything about the appointment was uncomfortable. The Dr and the staff make you feel like totally incompetent and treat you like you are stupid. For 10 years , I was thinking I have the best dentist, ever! Till moment I went to dentist in Europe and what...11 teeth to fix ! I was shocked. How come... after the nicer dentist from Boca East, who I trusted? I had 7 leaky dental fillings ( i saw the pictures) The worse was cavity- underneath fillings. Thank God -my new dentist saved my dead tooth. He put fiber glass inside and around gorgeous veneer. I almost cry. So pretty you can't tell. It took 6 visit to fix all my problems, no mention $. My dentist from Europe instead of hiring10 hostess on front desk invest in equipments. His microscope costs price of car. And btw he has only 1 person on front desk (older lady who worked very well) Almost every dentist in the States tries to make money. They don't want to play with things that are not worth it. Well... I was going to a dentist in Fort Lauderdale for 2 years that I was very unhappy with. The place was dirty, the staff was unorganized, and the dentist only worked on Tuesday's. I signed up for clear correct (cheaper form of Invisalign). Two years, 78 appointments and 3k later, my teeth still were not straight. My sister had crowns put on by East Boca Dental and I was in awe! I decided to go in and have Dr. Soropoulos see if I should also get crowns. I ended up doing crowns on 6 of my upper front teeth. The staff was so friendly from the front desk, to the hygienist and especially the Doctor and Assistant. My teeth look better than I could have ever imagined and my experience was incredible. The dentist and his assistant are true protectionist and professionals. I am so excited this is going to be my dentist for life! I will recommend to all of my family and friends. Dr. Steven Goldberg was amazing. We have been using this dentist for the past 10+ years. Yesterday I had to have extensive dental work. Dr. Goldberg used a new vibration device that he invented. The vibration in your mouth takes away any pain you may experience from the numbing shots. He was so incredibly gentle and calm. I am terrified of dentist but felt safe there. Wish I had read these reviews before today!! Been having my teeth cleaned by an AWESOME hygienist at East Boca Dental since moving to Boca five years ago. I've not had the need to have any other dental work (lucky me) done -- but a constant push by the dentist and staff to redo a crown -"we can do a great job-- make your smile wonderful -- blah blah -". I finally schedule to do the crown today- whereupon once in the chair - they try to upsell me on a root canal (they try to tell me my xray looks like it is failing - and he does this fake push on my gums getting me to say it hurts-- it doesn't hurt-- nothing hurts -except the annoyance of this bullshit!) I point out the root canal is just fine- done in 1974 -nothing wrong-- it's been stable four decades-- fell off monkey bars as a kid, dental work done then, this would have been the fourth crown- cosmetic. He then brings in another dentist who tries to convince me of the same and says their endodontist will read my xray-- but they want me to get a CT (another attempt to upsell me) because my root looks awful and should be redone ! But wait for it...wait for it-- ...wait for it.. he then wants me to sign a "release" because now instead of the "we can do a great job on your crown" song he's been singing for the past five years -- he wants me to sign a release " just in case you're not happy with the crown".."it's a tough match in a front tooth- and we cannot guarantee it would be perfect or to your liking. " And....it's possible that when they remove my crown they might damage the underlying tooth and I'd need an implant - are you kidding me....I'm going to sign a release ...go ahead - just hit my face with a shovel why don't you?!! There's more....then he says he wants to have me cut away healthy gum tissue to make the crown fit better--"we can do a really nice job but we recommend you cut tissue so it looks more natural" - I don't care what the price was - you're not going to cut my healthy gum tissue out of my mouth! I left the office and thankful I didn't let him attempt a crown, upsell me unnecessary root canal, cut my healthy gum tissue -- and all of this clearly something others in these reviews are writing about. ALWAYS READ REVIEWS-- THERE IS A PATTERN HERE!! I had cheerfully referred a friend to Dr. George -- as my experience with the practice up until now was positive. She was upsold a root canal also, her crown work shoddy, has experienced pain and they still cannot fix her crown fitting or resolve her problems. Sorry to say goodbye to my hygienist and the lovely front office staff- but Dr. George would be the last dentist in Boca I'd let drill, cut, chop or otherwise anywhere near my mouth. I DON'T NEED A ROOT CANAL_- my root canal was done before Dr. George was seven dreaming of attending DENTAL school! Charged $1200 for dental deep cleaning by a dental assistant then when l showed up for my follow-up visit. I was told I would have to pay another $45 to have a real dentist review my results. If I agreed to another $980 for additional work, they would credit me the extra fee. I think this band of traveling dentists have figured out how to maximize profits while delivering impersonal and condescending treatment. Both my husband and I will nolonger be using their services.
