Overall, I think they should increase the portion (specifically the amount of meatballs you get), and obviously make sure they're cooked through fully before serving.

The doughnuts are double the size of most doughnuts and doubly good. The pretzels are huge, butter basted, warm and delicious. It's not inexpensive but the tastes will cure you of any sticker shock. I spent $40+ for 1/2 dozen regular-1/2 dozen chocolate dipped doughnuts and 6 pretzels with dipping sauces and didn't regret a penny of what I spent. Came back on my way out of town and got a pretzel dog and pretzel for breakfast as well as some doughnuts for later. The food trailer in some of the pictures has been replaced by a building on the edge of Troyer's parking lot. You order at the window and most times there's going to be a line. It's a takeout business so you are on your own if you want to eat right away. The folks are friendly and efficient and orders are filled quickly once you get to the window. Had a young little gentleman that took my order & did a great job! After looking over all the sweets, I ordered a perfectly refreshing Iced Chocolate Mocha Coffee from Allen's Sweet Paradise. This perfectly cooked potato (love that they don't coat it in oil) was locked and fully loaded to the hilt with smoked tender pulled bbq pork, cheese, sour cream and topped with a slightly sweet & thick bbq sauce. It was right across the street. 5 people were in line despite a chilly night. A Good sign. The menu was promising as well as the people running the show. A friendly welcoming atmosphere was the start of the Soul! The wait was 8 minutes with, like I said, a crowd in front of us. Friendly chatter ensued. The pork chop was coming out of the frier and I mentioned how amazing it looked. Tony threw in a 'too small to sell' freebee pork chop. 2 words... IT SLAAAAPED! Left no crumbs. Got some honey bbq wings. Mac and cheese. Green beans. Fried okra. All very delish! I only hope I take a trip back up to Soul Food Island. Thank you Tony and Tammy.
