Dr. V saw me this morning for initial assessment and brought me back in the afternoon for my first epidural injection. It was easy peasy. Just a little pressure, not painful. Will hope for results within a week. The second injection will be done in two weeks. This clinic was filled with patients. So many people out here in pain. The only negative was they only offered apple juice and water to drink. No tequila. Go see Dr. V if you have pain. Don't wait.

I was prescribed several brands of Immitrex that offered little relief and led to a referral with a headache specialist with whom I had a single visit. She reported back to Dr. Costello that I was addicted to Immitrex after which he would no longer see me as a patient. Mayo clinic later determined my surgery never fused, several of my screws had broken, and I had a retropulsed vertbrae fracture impinging on my spinal cord. This was only after my entire left and dominant arm fell completely limp and numb causing me to lose use of it.

He said only treatment he could offer me is a Spinal Cord Stimulator surgery and was not receptive to any other treatments. This was disappointing as there are other modalities out there to treat lower back pain that are less costly and less invasive. Also, my insurance will not cover a Spinal Cord Stimulator surgery until other treatment options have been exhausted. 3. In summary, I felt Kevin Costello and his staff dismissed me as I am young (35 years old) and failed to offer fundamental pain management services. I could not have been more insulted and will never recommend this guy or Southeast Pain and Spine to anyone suffering from chronic pain.

He introduced himself and explained what my x-rays revealed. He then said he was glad I came in and proceeded to talk about pain management options. I chose to have knee surgery, at which time he cited his availability to do my surgery. My surgery went well and so did my follow up appointments. During one of my appointments, I asked for additional physical therapy to help increase my knee bend. One year later, and with the extra physical therapy, I feel good and have returned to many of my normal activities. My experience with Dr. Zlotnicki was very positive.

The insurance has contacted the doctors office and each time been passed around from department to department after being on the phone for long durations each time and would have to hang up due to time waiting. I was eating dinner and a bridge in my mouth came loose. The office did not answer and the answering service took my call. I commend the young lady who took my call for her courtesy and professionalism, however all she could do is schedule me for an appointment a full week from today and tell me she would forward my message to the clinical team. My discomfort and anxiety increased over time so I initiated a live chat on the Stowe dental website with Tisha who was amazing. Tisha told me she was contacting the dentist directly to tell them my situation and although she could not promise anything she would try. I'm disappointed that Stowe Dental does not answer their phones during the posted hours. I received a call back from Tisha and they are able to see me tomorrow at 2pm. She told me they had a cancellation so I could be fit in. My question is this: why can't a dental emergency get fit in irregardless? Would I have been forced to wait a week to be seen? I am over 40 and learned so much! I also signed up for Invisalign to straighten my teeth which have been bothering me more and more. My teeth started to shift (I had braces when I was 16 and need my straight teeth back!). They don't have massage chairs or TVs at each chair but the info I learned about my teeth and gums was far more valuable to me. I've never had such a thorough and detailed cleaning.

The first one the long sides of the crown did not hit the gums causing food to get stuck and the short sides were bubbled causing food to be trapped/decay. I replaced the first one at my expense at a year with minimal damage. The second one I am dealing with now. The crown is 3 years old already causing bone loss and destabilizing my implant (I may have to replace the implant). I am so enraged that a dentist I trusted could deliberately set me up for failure (Dr Olsen has been a dentist for over 40 years and he KNOWS crowns should be flat NOT bubbled). I received my meal but had not ordered coffee. I asked the server for it and she just pointed to the computer screen and, yes, I had to enter their system to order a cup of coffee. I was his test subject without having full knowledge of his true experience and Novant Hospital had allowed this to continue plus I was suppose to go home with 15 pain meds which I never received and could have used after surgery. I strongly advise to use Atrium Healthcare which is the better choice. Novant is the worse I have ever experienced.
