Staff is very nice. But I'm just so unhappy with the outcome of the coloring Lupe did. She did exactly what I didn't want to happen. She covered my grey roots well, but then colored the hair that wasn't grey and it turned brassy warm orangey which was what I specifically said I didn't want to happen. I brought this up again when she started doing those areas as I didn't need the hair not grey colored, and she assured me that wouldn't happen. Well, it did! I was also surprised she didn't even dry an area of hair before I did it myself to show and see the color. I've never not had a stylist do that. She also never came over once I dried it to see how the color was. She was sitting in the rear room chatting with staff when I left. I won't be returning. read more

I love this Salon. Everyone is very friendly!! The haircuts are a tad on the expensive side, but totally worth it. Bernard gave me the best haircuts, I have since gone away to school so I haven't been back, but he is the nicest hair stylist and gives great cuts and color! I would highly recommend him. I will never go here again. I used to go here regularly & then stopped. I tried it again and I have to say that I was very disappointed. Michael was rushed and talked only about his next appointments and how busy he was. I felt unwelcome and like a hindrance. Also, he smelled like cigarettes. He didn't listen to what I wanted and seemed resistant to what I wanted as "he was so busy" ... But on looking around, there was more staff than clientele. And the color he put in my hair seemed to rinse out & be gone within a week: IMO, a total waste of money and the time it took me to drive to the salon (an hour). Awful haircut for men even though I asked for a senior hair stylist and was assured the woman I was given worked best with men. Even after giving explicit directions, she just shredded my hair and it was longer on one side of my head than the other. I'm STILL waiting for it to grow out and it feels horrible! What a relief! I had a hair emergency. I was having an allergic reaction to my tape in extensions (I had gotten them installed 3 days again in LA) and they were able to accommodate me last minute. I can't comment on Kevin Maple's haircuts, but its pedicure left a lot to be desired. I paid a whopping $50 + tax and tip for an ordinary pedicure. And no massage, which is a staple at less expensive salons. Save your money and go to one of the less expensive salons in the area. read more
