He's one of two GP's here, the other being David Stair, MD. I'll try to explain the good things about Dr. Cohen without talking about my medical history. Pardon the vague language to follow. -The EMR: No more impossibly illegible doctor handwriting here! (a travesty I deal with daily as a healthcare professional myself). All your info is on the computer... even though I hadn't seen Dr. Cohen for 18 months (my fault, insurance issues), he was familiar with my case, and we were able to pick up where we left off. -Like a good auto mechanic, he only recommended diagnostic testing that he really felt I needed, and excluded anything I didn't. Considerate of my health, my time, and my wallet... way to hit three birds, Doc! -Always happy to discuss non-central issues. Though my visit was for a different reason, I happened to mention my desire to wean myself off of Prilosec while managing my persistent heartburn [I suppose I don't mind revealing THAT about my medical history], and he provided valuable advice. -A consummate professional. After hanging up with the hostile "receptionist " I realized she didn't even ask for my husband's name or DOB but she did ask what type of insurance he has because she had to make sure it was through the private sector. So I call her back to give her my husband's information and she stated... SHE DID NOT NEED IT! WTH?! NO THANK YOU!!! What type of medical office is this place if they don't need a new patient's name? My Dr. Aditi Mukherji is fabulous she's the best I have ever had the pleasure of treating me! I can recommend her again and again. She friendly polite and treats you with a gentle kindness that makes you feel better if you were sick! Any procedures blood work or medicine I needed she checks to be certain the insurance will cover it before making an order for it! That way I'm not in unnecessary debt! I haven't met such a fabulous Doctor before. Today I had the pleasure of meeting with Dr. Dmitry Albin (emergency appt) he was attentive and took the time to check if the insurance would cover my prescriptions. I will say after 20 minutes he really wanted our appointment to end. I asked if he would flush my clogged ear he said no buy OTC medication and try it at home because that procedure takes 1/2 an hour (I know it only takes 5 minutes) or choice #2 I can call and make another appointment to have it done (my copay would be another 20.00) all in all, it was still a good visit, plus I lost 2 lbs! This woman is absolutely incredible!…read more I've been to both of her offices and the staff is amazing, so friendly, compassionate. They make the place feel very 'home' like, even on the phone! Both offices are pleasant, thorough, relaxing and efficient. I approached Dr. Breakstone after seeing a doctor I didn't trust. My old doctor catered to the kind of families that have ten kids and counting, the waiting room was always full, I waited for up to an hour or more after my appointment time every time, mixed up my paperwork and ultrasounds more than once, and the closest 'emergency' appointment I could be seen at took a month to book. Dr. Breakstone's office was nothing like that: she saw me immediately, sat me down for a thorough talk, a get-to-know before ever asking me to get changed, went completely over my medical history and problems, understanding how nervous and unsure I was of a new doctor after leaving the one I did. But she was WONDERFUL. Through every visit she listens, respects every patient, really takes the time to explain options and procedure, and I've recommended her to every woman I can, all that say the same things I am here. Without her I would still be a hormonal mess and still in so much agony. I highly recommend her, especially for first-time patients!
