Dr. Mosby heard my fear and has ALWAYS been very very cautious to make sure that I never ever feel any pain. He has provided exceptional care thru the years and helped me so much when my gums receded due to chemotherapy. A combination of crowns and veneers helped to get my smile and confidence back to show my teeth again when I smiled. He is always warm, caring and so very personable. His office staff is awesomely friendly and efficient and I can't say enough great things about my dental hygienist, Beth!! I just love these guys! I have no more fears or anxiety over visiting a dental office because I found this wonderful practice. "Patient forever"!

Very happy we found them. My daughter is 8 and was very…read morenervous. The hygienist was sooo patient and gentle. The dentist was great and didn't suggest any unnecessary treatments. Said her baby tooth is on watch for a cavity but we will check it in 6 months. Other dentists we have been to would have suggested fillings or caps right away!

Let me start by saying that Deerbrook Family Dentistry is my primary care dentist through my…read moreinsurance company. I had a huge hole in my back tooth that was causing me severe pain to the point I couldn't chew food, even on the other side of my mouth. I arrived and was promptly taken to the back, where I was cared for almost immediately. Saw the dentist and she told me she didn't think she could salvage the tooth and that it would require extraction. She wrote me a prescription for antibiotics and Tylenol 3 for the pain, as well as a referral to an oral surgeon located near the office. I scheduled the consultation (which apparently is standard when needing emergency oral surgery) for the next day at the other facility and was looking forward to having the issue taken care of quickly. An hour before the appointment time, the other location called me and informed me that they did not accept my insurance. So, I called back up to Deerbrook Family Dentistry for a referral to a place that accepts my insurance, only for them to tell me that Dr. Perez only refers patients to that specific facility so it would be my responsibility to find a surgeon to remove my tooth. Excuse me, but I don't remember going to dental school and meeting an entire network of other dentists and dental surgeons. As a matter of fact, I know absolutely ZERO people in the field of dentistry. How am I supposed to know where to find an oral surgeon, considering I don't have a rolodex full of all sorts of colleagues/dental professionals? More importantly, why on earth would my in-network dentist refer me to an out-of-network oral surgeon, knowing full well that my insurance wouldn't cover the visit? How does she not have another facility she can refer me to? The solution I was given was to find my own oral surgeon, set up an appointment, and then call back with the new oral surgeon's information so that they can then send a new referral to the surgeon. Mind you, the hole in my tooth is so painful that I can't even see straight, and I am now having to make my own professional connections in an industry that I don't even work in, just to get my tooth taken out because Dr. Perez only refers patients to one specific oral surgeon and can't be bothered to think of one other oral surgeon in the whole world she could refer me to. So my emergency tooth extraction went from a quick fix to not getting fixed for a month out from my initial visit. I just don't understand the logic behind her decision to send me to a clinic that doesn't accept my insurance and how the process has fallen solely on my shoulders. Like, what kind of primary care is that?

full disclosure; i…read moreonly sought this business because it was closest to me. i didn't care about reviews i just needed something close by in case i had to walk or uber. the staff here is top notch. TOP. NOTCH. full stop. i haven't had any treatments yet, but after my new patient check in/up type deal they made me feel very confident that they'll be able to handle all of my situations. i can count on one hand how many times i've been to the dentist. i let a lot fall by the wayside while paying for other expenses. i was ashamed and embarrassed by how bad i let my teeth get and i was so anxious. when dr. romero called me back i was instantly in tears. ashamed that i could no longer hide the broken teeth. dr. romero went into soothing mode without missing a beat. i'm a pretty tough person and don't let pain or insecurities show much at all, but i was very, very overwhelmed. EVERYONE was kind and accommodating. EVERYONE was patient and thoughtful. i had someone bring me an anxiety toy, she also brought me a warmed blanket and pillow. if you have anxiety you are alllll too familiar with how cold things can quickly get. a warmed blanket! dr. romero was such a breath of fresh air. i didn't feel judged, i felt supported and understood. his bedside manner is top notch. what a gem of a person. when it came to the financing part of the appointment liz was also, very kind. gave a few options and was to the point. explaining things in a way that made sense and wasn't too overwhelming. all in all, i am so very lucky i picked this place and got the doctor i did. everyone here is so wonderful. everything was clean. i have zero complaints.

She sent in the financial guy to talk me into it. He said it would be $480 something and my insurance would cover the rest. I said no, I'm only there for the cleaning. She would not do the cleaning. My gums were so sore after her exam. I don't have bleeding gums or anything wrong with my gums. They just wanted to make money off me. I called my insurance company and a deep scale would only be cover if it was approved by insurance first. So glad I said No. Still looking for a good Dentist.
