We spent quite a bit of time researching photographers online, and when we found Michael we fell in love with his style. We sent him an email to set up a consultation, and he was quick to respond. Knowing Michael only shoots a select amount of weddings a year, we were thrilled he agreed to meet with us. And once we met, we fell in love with his personality and his samples. His coffee table book-style albums are made in Italy. Ours was bound in a gorgeous black leather cover and came in an exquisite wooden box. He also has a unique digital tool that helps you create the album of your dreams together, and we received a USB flash drive in the mail with all of the images as well. Michael and his assistant Jim made us feel so comfortable on the wedding day, from the "getting ready" images to the ceremony to the reception. They also snapped images of us outside the reception venue in the snow for some incredible winter photos on what was the coldest day of the year (in December 2017). It only took a few minutes as the sun was setting, and they got what would become some of our favorite shots of the entire day. That said, being so late with this review is NOT a reflection of their services. I'm just a procrastinator. Michael also knew we wanted more candid photos, so while we still had typical posed photos there were also plenty of candid shots of our guests and us. We couldn't have asked for a better photographer! One a wonderful side note, we mentioned in passing that we wanted to hire a day-of wedding coordinator, and Michael had a fantastic recommendation for us. Most of the other photographers I found were using silly photoshop filters or taking pictures at an angle to make the photos look creative, which I think is really cheesy. But what stuck out for me in Steve's sample photos were that all the images were so sharp and looked naturally beautiful. Before I met Steve, I had worked with several other local photographers and I can say Steve was by FAR the best to work with. He pays a lot of attention to the details in the photo like the sourroundings, positioning and lighting. His photos are beautiful, plus his prices blow the competition out of the water! The best park is he even gives you ALL the photos on a CD when your done. He offered to touch up 10 photos for free, but we didn't even think they needed touching up because they came out so well. I had had my heart set on another photographer for my wedding but I was getting the run around as far as if they were available or not when I went to a bridal fair and came across the booth Brett had set up there. My now husband and I spoke to him and looked through some of his work and we pretty quickly decided to book him. The thing that appealed to us the most is that he does things outside of the typical wedding pictures - the wedding packages include a beautiful hardcover book in which your photos are showcased on linen pages. The bride and groom get to select the pictures for this book and then Brett adds some of his own choosing. He can put the pictures on 3D photographic paper, which really shows the color and texture of the picture beyond just a normal print. During the reception, he takes the bride and groom outside for a sunset photo shoot and then does another one with backlighting after dark; seriously, what photographer usually stays at the reception after the bouquet and garter toss?! Beyond the fact that Brett thinks outside the box, he is also incredibly agreeable and easy to work with; the day really is all about you and your wedding, he wants you to set the tone and he will do pretty much whatever you ask. His wife works as his assistant and his daughter is his second photographer. Any picture Brett is taking, his daughter is taking from another angle, so it really is as if every moment is captured. On our wedding day, Brett's daughter stayed with me and my bridesmaids to photograph us while we got ready and Brett was with the groom and groomsmen, taking pictures of them getting ready. (I also found out later that Brett and his family had paid a visit to the chapel in which we were married and to our reception venue in the couple of weeks prior to our wedding so he could get ideas and prepare for the day.) Back to the wedding day, they shot pictures continously from the time they showed up at noon until they left the reception at 10pm! My husband and I recently got our proofs back and the sheer number of them shows how dedicated they both were to documenting our wedding day. Brett called me to make sure that I had gotten to look at the pictures and he was so animated, telling me how he loves to put the books together and really tell the story of the wedding day through the pictures. He mentioned specific pictures that were his favorites and also pointed out some details in a few that we hadn't noticed yet. His dedication and passion for his work really comes through when you talk to him, he's a great guy and talented photographer. I hope to be able to use him for other pictures in the future and I would definitely recommend him to anyone!

I've talked to TWA about it but none-the-less I was beyond dissapointed. So, I decided to call Seth for some shots in front of my most beloved city skyline. He met us at Buckingham Fountain and took about 50 or so shots that all turned out great. I had my edited and unedited negatives online in about a week. Seth's a great photographer and is so easy and fun to work with. I highly recommend him as a photographer. He's very talented....
