I had never been here before, and I do not car maintenance often. So, it is difficult to build relationship with a good shop that will be fair and courteous and UPRIGHT. I took my 2014 Impala in for an oil change and filter and lube, they charged me $60, and I was pleased. Then I took my 2012 Challenger in 30 minutes later, and they roll the labor for the change and lube and filter into the cost of oil quarts which comes to around $12.50 per quart, which i find acceptable, then of course the oil filter which is a little extra. I also requested some new wind shield wiper blades, and they charged me $30 for those and $40 labor to put them on, which I find a little steep, so for an oil change/lube and new wiper blades it cost me $150, so I think that was a tad steep, and the reason the employee say that was the price was because their computer wasn't working or something like that, and they was ballparking it, so I spend $210 total for two oil changes and a pair of wiper blades, it is too bad I will have to keep looking, because I need coolant flushes on both cars soon, and I will not be returning there. read more

I originally came to Kevin's after having my clutch replaced incorrectly at another shop. He got me in the same day and fixed the issue right away. Since then, I have been back for several other repairs and the work has always been solid and dependable. Kevin is extremely knowledgeable and takes the time to explain what's going on. I give it no stars! We took are suburban in to have a cam shaft replaced. We got it out on Thursday and Friday on my way home from work it started to overheat. I had to pull over and I called Kevin it was a little after 5 and left a message that I was broke down and he said sorry nothing I can do for you until Monday. We spent over $4,000.00 have it fix and they didn't hook the fans back up. It ended up blowing the radiator. Now what if it was your mom or daughter stranded and he said sorry you'll have to wait until Monday. read more

I took my car to Kevin's trusting I would get a safe vehicle to drive with my son in the back while pregnant but I was played. I had to pull off the road minutes after picking up my car to see a cap missing from under my hood and I was told a belt broke after I drove it down the street from the business. If I'm paying for my car to be serviced I expect it to be done so I can drive my children safely to our destinations. It's a scam to bleed more money out of the customers and I feel like my life and the life of my children were put at risk. Later on the phone discussing the problem I was told to bring my car back to "get this over with" but I will happily pay a mechanic I trust than take my car back and risk the lives of my children and others on the road. I had to have my car looked at by Tuner Auto Haus Mobile Repair (great service and he knows what he is doing!) and he told me a list of things wrong, one being my alternator I just had him replace a month ago being put in wrong by your careless employee that did not replace my fluids and cap and left nasty hand prints down the side of my car. The fluid caps were even left unlocked showing red. When I brought my car in I said colored fluid gushed out and I just needed my car fixed. For you to see one more problem and tell me a new price to fix it but not completely fixing my car was very inconsiderate of you and your employee to let me drive with my child with me. Yes I was heated and raised my voice because I feel you do not care for the safety of your customers. I did not bring my car back because I care about my children and do not want to be in a car that your employees rushes on and puts together incorrectly. read more

My daughter's car broke down in Claremont Oklahoma, she got her car towed to this shop. She has an older vehicle 2011 Kia, he told her he couldn't figure out what was wrong that it was a conundrum. It turned out to be the alternator, how it took a few days for a mechanic to figure that out is beyond me. He charged her 805.00 I live in California and could of had the alternator and battery for less than what he charged in Oklahoma, where the cost of living is less. I believe he saw a young girl, alone and took advantage. We got a quote from another repair company afterwards and the quote for repair and battery was less then 400.00 Two days later her car broke down again. I told her not to take it there, but he had told her she had a warranty. Well it turned out to be a pulse valve solenoid. Quoted her a high quote again, this time she called another shop as well, they quoted her half the cost. However Kevin wanted 120 for having looked at it. Which was almost close to what the other company quoted to repair. This was just awful. After much dispute he let her take her car elsewhere. read more

I brought my truck in for a new alternator. I asked 4 times to check the battery. They assured me battery was fine. When I picked up my truck (after hours), it had to be jumped. Got a new battery that night because cranking amp was shot. Now, my step son is broke down. The said they "fixed" the starter. Wont start. Bad place. Go where quality control and mechanics dont cut corners! read more

My wife high centered in her car pulling over a curb, when this happened I noticed some lime green liquid coming out. Antifreeze was my first thought as I've seen it before. I told her not to drive it, since it's hot outside and didn't want worse damage. She took it to a local shop (Kevin's) and honestly it was the worst decision. First quote was $1,700 for parts and labor, to fix the water pump. They then called my wife again and rattled off more stuff that needed fixed, gasket this timing that. New quote is almost $2,600. My wife called me and I said to let them know we will take it to get a second opinion. She calls them back and they say, "fine sure you can do that, but we've been working on it, and have it all taken apart blah blah blah, basically putting on pressure and forcing her hand to keep the vehicle there. She tells me the new price so I go and refinance a loan and clear our savings to pick up the fixed vehicle. My wife picks up the vehicle yesterday (7-6-23), a week later from the drop off, paid in cash, only to make it to the other side of town and have the steering column lock up and my pregnant wife and one year old almost go off the road. Not even ten minutes of having it! When we reached out to the auto shop the owner tells me that my wife, who has no vehicle experience, apparently told him her power steering was failing. He chose not to fix it because he knew we were strapped for cash, yet he found all of this other stuff to fix. On top of that I pop her hood in the rain on the side of the road and she's missing the cap to her washer fluid, there are greasy hand prints all over the cars paint from the workers, caps are not full screwed on, and the power steering was empty . The owner relayed that they apparently test drove it without issue so something must have happened as soon as we left. After the owner felt like I was accusing him of something, he said well I can't fix it over the phone, bring it in if you want it looked at. I reminded him that the wheel was locked up and he said, "well when you can, let me know." After that he hung up. He then called back within five minutes and said that he needed to know where the vehicle was so he could send someone out to look at it but he would not fix it until I got it to his shop. The mechanic came out, looked at it and told my wife the power steering belt was the original and it was broke and that was the issue. He mentioned the belt was tattered and could have been worn more during the service, and if we had further questions to call his boss. My wife called the owner again only to have nothing but rudeness. This is ridiculous, it's food out of our sons mouth, and stress on my wives pregnancy. Based on my experience here it honestly seems like they try to take advantage of people without vehicle knowledge, and his mechanics do sloppy work and gaslight/lie to cover their tracks. After the rudeness and failing to take any type of accountability, he told my wife to bring it up and he'd fix the belt, and get it over with. Basically trying to wipe his hands with it. Unfortunately tho, I am at work and refuse to allow my wife to go alone for her safety, plus the vehicle barely turns if at all. After all of this, how can we even trust the place to fix a simple belt? Might be another arm and leg. Not sure what options we have yet, but it honestly doesn't take a genius to realize when a place is trying to take advantage of a person who doesn't know about vehicles. This situation was irresponsibly handled and they allowed a pregnant woman and one year old to drive off the lot with a broken car. Honestly just thanking the lord that they are safe in all of this. It was storming and traffic was heavy. I would save your money, time, and mood by just avoiding this place completely. It is probably the safest option for you and yours as well! read more
