The problem started when I pushed back on their quote/recommendations. I even stated I needed something budget friendly and done possibly in stages. I was open to ideas and never once said no to any of the recommendations. Once I asked for more budget friendly alternatives, I got ghosted and communication stopped. It's unfortunate that as a loyal customer for about three years I got treated this way simply because I was trying to work within my budget. If they didn't want the job, they should have been upfront and told me instead of completely stopping communication with me.
