Kevin is a pleasure to do business with. We needed our labtop screen replaced. The price was very affordable. With the remaining money that I had budgeted for the screen replacement I followed his advice and he purchased and installed a 1 Terabyte solid state hard drive to replace the current outdated disk drive. Both of these fixes were just $10 over what I had budgeted for the screen replacement alone. Just from talking with him a few minutes I was able to get a timeline of how long he has been working on computers. It's over two decades. Yesterday, I was bummed. Today, I'm so HAPPY!!! I didn't know how much i needed this guy until I got my computer back from him. 3 year old PC, been getting more an more sluggish. Just figured it was age. Yesterday, i suddenly couldn't access the web (after trying to stream the Dolphins game on Sunday). Spent all day trying to fix it. Brought it to Kevin this morning at 9am. Got it back a little while ago and my PC is FLYING!!! Turns out I was overrun with viruses that my Bitdefender didn't detect or fix (despite running the scan multiple times). Where do I even start? My PC was not working for a while and I finally decided to bring it to someone to get it diagnosed and fixed. I was researching the best place to take it as I was worried to bring it to just anyone, afraid someone was going to take advantage of me as I am not the most knowledgeable person when it comes to PCs. A friend recommended Kevin to me as he recently built his entire system for a reasonable price so I decided to take my PC to him. My PC wouldn't start up on a Sunday. For a realtor that's extra bad timing. After going through some diagnostics over the phone with Dell, they said I needed a new motherboard. Kevin is great, very knowledgeable on desktops and helped me speed up my computer 10X it's hard to find a place to bring your gaming pc because you know how expensive a lot of your parts are and you don't want anything to be mishandled, but at Kevin's you don't have to worry about that. Very displeased by the LACK of service. I made an appointment for the OWNER to come to my home and clean 2 computers physically. The fans, processors, etc. he came to my home, messy I'll admit as we JUST moved in our stuff so there was boxes and half built ikea furniture, and he entered my home and said "this is too messy I can't work in a place like this RUDELY and walked out slamming my door. Not friendly at all. I was told to leave the store before I could even bring in my laptop, as it won't start up and stay running. All because I needed to use the restroom and was told "I don't let people use my bathroom" even though there are signs leading to the restroom. he then gestured that I needed to leave and ran me out of his store. I used Kevin twice when he was here in Oregon and he did totally right by me. I'm currently writing this review on a computer he built for me and it runs beautifully. I only wish he had stayed because now I don't know who I'll be able to go to to build my next rig.
