She told me to wait for a month to see if it would subside but I was too anxious so she said we could take out the growth and biopsy it. I was so grateful. She really understood my needs as well as my puppy. Today the procedure was done and my dog is fine. We have to wait for the biopsy result but I am confident that I am in good hands. Anne Nevill has been great with other matters too. The previous time I had been to another vet who told me my dog had cancer and needed his anal glands removed. I came to Anne for a second opinion and it turned out that my dog had an infected anal gland and she lanced it and gave him antibiotics and he was fine. NO cancer. How about that... So I cant praise her enough. She certainly knows her stuff and is a pleasure to deal with and a life saver.... The staff too are lovely and the whole environment is friendly and relaxed. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

She helped with a chronic skin condition of my first adopted doggie whose previous owners insisted it is incurable. He was a completely different dog after 6 months in Ann's care. Beautiful, silky coat and no rash. I adopted all my animals when they were older and she helped me to make their lives as healthy and enjoyable as possible. She performed crucial ligament operation and recommended a great rehab for my dog. When there was time to say goodbye to my gorgeous fur babies, she performed that with so much care and thought and made the last moment less painful. I really love what she does and who she is. If you've signed your pet onto their best for pets program, a number of use of the Hydrobath is included in the package. There seems to be 3 clinics under the same brand, Carlton, Brunswick and Fitzroy. We go to their Brunswick clinic which don't have a Hydrobath onsite, so we are able to go to either Carlton or Fitzroy to use this facility. Towels and shampoos are available for you to use, and the Hydrobath is a simple deep tub to wash your dog in, a giant blow drier is available to use to dry your pooch quickly. Booking is required

Lucy is getting on a bit and therefore needs a bit more special attention - she is a little bit blind, a little bit deaf and, well, just really old in general. the people at the Carlton Vet Clinic are always fantastic, and like Miriam said in the previous review that will look after her at the drop of a hat. It really does put your mind at ease to know that this gem of a vet is available and will do everything they are capable of to look after your pooch/cat/guinea pig.

I recently saw Alice who I am so grateful to because she diagnosed the funny lump on my dog as being cancerous and was able to book her in for surgery the next day to remove it. Bella is now cancer free and happy her stitches are out! I was a bit emotional about it all and Alice and the nurses were so sweet and helpful especially in their after care advice. I don't often post reviews but I feel like I hit the jackpot when it comes to the care of my lab, my cat, and Craig has even seen my bearded dragon Albert when he was looking flat. ‼ ZERO STARS - Gross negligence and failure of duty of care…read more They let my beloved girl die from untreated sepsis ‼ I brought my diabetic girl to Advance Vet Kensington. She was already collapsed on arrival, with a swollen, painful forelimb, obvious distress, and systemic illness. An x-ray revealed gas and fluid in the limb - a textbook red flag for necrotising infection and sepsis. A blood gas test also confirmed she was critically unwell. Despite this, the night staff did nothing. She was never diagnosed. She was given only methadone for pain relief and anti-nausea. No shock-rate fluids were administered, no antibiotics, oxygen or insulin were given, and no stabilisation was attempted. I was told to wait until 8 am, or even midday, for a surgeon. This advice, to delay urgent treatment in a collapsed, septic, diabetic patient was grossly negligent and unforgivable. Their dismissive and demeaning conduct made it worse: I had rung in advance and arrived calm and clear about her condition, yet I was treated as though I had woken them up from sleep with an inconvenience rather than a medical emergency. When the morning shift arrived at 7am, they finally recognised how severe the situation was. At that point, I was asked to approve and sign for $15,000 in hospitalisation fees before any treatment plan was commenced. I have never once put a price on my dog's health, but to withhold urgent, life-saving care until a financial signature was obtained added another layer of negligence. Emergency measures were then attempted, but the sepsis had already advanced too far. In fact, the first antibiotic was not administered until after her heart had stopped, during CPR. Her death was preventable. The staff failed to act on clear diagnostic evidence, failed to treat her as an emergency, and failed to treat me with even the most basic respect. Their negligence, inaction, and attitude directly caused a preventable death. To add insult to injury, I was charged $4,000 for six hours of neglect.

We were so worried about parvo and were taken in within 40 minutes and had him home within 24 hours after treatment (obviously not parvo). They quickly diagnosed the likely issue (swallowed plastic), kept us informed at all times including a running total of the account. The vets had great handover and kept us informed of current treatment and possible outcomes... clinic is very clean, staff professional and updates were fabulous. From us though, a 5 star service and one I highly recommend for emergency visits..

The staff are great, and the Vets themselves are really friendly, and genuinely concerned for your pet. Each time my dog has been in, they have completed her treatment with a one on one chat about her health and what procedures went on. Another great thing about Boronia Vet is the price. I tried another vet once, and found their prices 20% higher than those here. Having been completely refurbished recently, the premises are clean and modern, and although I'm sure the animals don't really notice, it is a nice touch for the owners.
