Bowling is something like $2-3 a game, beer is $2-4; staff is always friendly. Pizza is the bomb. Definitely recommended.

Great bar food (especially the cheese curds) and pizza in a bowling alley/bar atmosphere. Beer is cold, bartenders are warm & friendly!

After our visit to our lady of good help shrine we were very hungry so we looked at Groupon & Yelp…read moreto see what we could find. Our Lady of Good Help Shrine is located in the middle of nowhere, in a field far from anything. We found a Groupon for 4 people - $40 for $22 at a place called Rendezvous. After mapping the location we proceeded to drive from Our Lady of Good Help Shrine to a location in the middle of nowhere 9.2 miles away on a country road intersection. The Rendezvous is a combination restaurant/bar/bowling alley down by 2 county roads. When we walked in we had to go down about 4 or 5 steps into a very dated establishment. There were a number of people sitting at the bar having drinks and watching college games on tv. The bowling alley was empty when we got there. We asked the bartender if we could grab a seat and she said sit anywhere. The dining room looked like the basement of a old 60's condo that I use to live in. There were folding tables and chairs set up so the 4 of us grabbed a table. The waiter came with 4 menus and gave us a brief rundown on some of the items. He was a young guy that was very pleasant & was willing to put up with questions from the Illinois city folk. Overall the service was good, a little slow, but good They have a variety of items for dinners and were reasonably priced. I orders the family style broasted chicken (as much as you want) which was very good that came with way too many sides. The sides included mashed potatoes (ehh made from a powered mix), coleslaw (which was very good, seasoned well with fresh ingredients), stuffing (ehh not worth mentioning), gravy (kind of a grey color and way too much cornstarch), corn (not too bad) & sauerkraut (ehh I could have done with out it) & desert (cherry cheesecake, brownies, pumpkin cake& homemade kit Kat cake). Did I mention I tried all of them? The broasted chicken was delicious and by far the best item in the family style meal for $8.95 all inclusive. My wife's friend ordered the 4 piece broasted chicken dinner. Her husband and my wife ordered the short ribs which were pretty blahhhh It was an ok meal (broasted chicken was pretty good I would give this a solid 4+ stars) for a reasonable price, huge quantities and good service. The short ribs were probably not even a 2 star. I doubt if I will ever be out there again in the middle of Packer country, but hey if you don't try it you never know what you are missing.

Also, our waiter was a (seemingly) high school kid who was waiting tables and prepping food in the back--super impressive but that is a lot for one person to do! The Halloween decor was also on point--very spooky. The pizza was super disappointing. I don't think they put any seasoning on that sucker. When you have the name "pizza" in your restaurant name-sake, I'm expecting a slamming pizza. It was also burned :( The service was also breathtakingly slow, but it is because that one kid is running all over the place doing all the jobs. I also thought it was weird when I asked for a water for dine-in they brought our table bottled water so we could take it to go. We requested just cups of water and they thought we were WILD for not wanting to waste more plastic.

Willow Creek has open bowl hours on Saturday and we called and found that they had some free lanes. When we arrived, it was definitely busting in there but they did have a couple free lanes. We secured our lane, ordered a couple bourbon old fashioned cocktails, a basket of fries, and some jalapeno poppers (you know..your usual bowling alley fare). You order at the bar and the bring your food right to your lane. Everything was great. Good seating at the lanes, a nice area to keep your food and drink behind the lane area, and even some nice hooks to hang your coats while you bowl. Zero complaints and a fun afternoon had! Get to it!

The bar is nice and spacious. The food is cheap yet good. The second time was great with Andrew playing at the bar. It was a good time with great people. The food came out fast and i had no complaints! You have to have a minimum of 10 bucks on your tab to use a credit card. It's hard to get to 10 dollars because the food is so inexpensive and the drinks are too. It isn't a complaint because they have an ATM right next to the bar if you don't spend enough. I recommend this place to anyone looking for someone cheap yet fun to bowl at. No complaints, it's an all around good time!

I had been talking up the food to a friend for months! We were finally able to make the trip out today. We were so stoked!!! Unfortunately, when we got there we sat at a table and were ignored for 15 minutes. The lady at the next table said, "you had better go up to the bar to order". Finally the waitress, Who so obviously hates her job, said she could take our drinks order. We waited a while, she finally brought our drinks a long while later. We said we are ready to order. In a very short, annoyed and clipped tone , she shit back that she didn't have her writing pad. She left. We waited another inordinate long amount of time for her to come back to tak our order. In the meantime, 3-4 parties of people came in, were served, and had their food in front of them before our food order was even taken. Cut to the food: the burgers I had talked up for so long came out charred black and nearly inedible. I feel if we had sent them back, that grouchy lady may have huffed and spit on them. After all the work my family put into this place, trying to foster a friendly family atmosphere, and bragging it up to my friends...I had to APOLOGIZE to my friend for THEIR shitty service. I am deeply, deeply saddened and disappointed today. The employees clearly just despise their jobs. And when we got our food, this lady plops them on the table and walks away. No, "Enjoy your meal", "can I get you anything else," "can I refill your drinks". I was so grossed out at the bullied reputation we worked so hard for nearly 2 decades to build. Never thought I would EVER have to give this place a 1 star review. Yet here we are. Very sad today. Wonder what mom and dad will say when I stop.over ther after this.... sad.
